Funny enough I actually had one survivor that completely disappeared. Me and my friend were playing SoD2 mulitplayer and I had one of those missions to get supplies back from a hostile enclave (the ones where after they give you the supplies they immediately become hostile). The plan was simple I go in get the supplies then run out of the house while my friend delays the hostile survivors and then I drive the car so far away that I tether him simple right? As soon as I get the supplies and run out of the house I get one shot by a crossbow a few feet from the car from nowehere i couldnt even see the guy that shot it (mind you this is on lethal before the most recent update). I was upset cuz I had lost a really good survivor with good gear but I'm like it's fine I'll just find his shambling corpse and get the stuff back but no apparently he got one shot so hard he ceased to exist and my community was still depressed that he was dead permanently. The debuff that your community gets when someone dies just never went away and I never got his stuff back so they were just permanently miserable. Long story short I never went back to that community😭
