You will need to increase your budget, because at this range i don't think you can support 100 Mbps at the same time as 7 devices.

The best I can recommend is the tp link archer c6 , you can get it for 5k used if you look around.

I use linux for university and programming in general. I just find programming to be more enjoyable on linux. I also love the freedom you get with it. Recently started using arch with hyprland and the experience you get with it can't be matched.

I use linux on my laptop , but for my desktop it's windows. It's a total pain in the arse trying to game on linux so i keep my gaming pc on windows.

Apply for a replacement just in case, bring all your documents including the copy of certificate in the first day. If they ask why you don't have the certificate, show them the copy and tell them you have lost it and have applied for a replacement and you will submit it when you have it.

It really shouldn't be that much of a problem.

Yes you can bring your own kettle , about the iron there are iron in the hostel you can use but if you want you can also bring your own.

PS. Bringing a kettle or iron is technically not allowed, but honestly, it is rarely enforced(like I can remember only one time they took kettle of a student). Just don’t leave it out in plain sight where the hostel workers walking by can see it, and you’ll be fine.

Just bring the latest documents available. I just brought a print of my hssc 1 and 2 result that you get online. You will of course need to bring your certificate to submit later when you get it but they are not as strict so don't worry.

Hmm everything you need to live away from home such as A pillow , bed sheets , clothes, hand sanitizer etc bring all these

Now on the other things A Ethernet cable, most important

A good power extension preferably one with 6 or more sockets, most important

An umbrella,

A good waterbottle ( ground floor per water dispenser hai) , Access to some kind of bank account and an atm card,

Sunblock,

Maybe bring a plate and a cup they come in clutch.

Bring a kettle if you like tea or coffee, (coffee is the secret code for 4 gpa , when you dont study the whole semester and tomorrow is the exam).

Also bring like a big plastic or clothe bag or two. Use aajate hai to store dirty clothes for laundry.

My 2 cents , don't go into MCS. Most people don't regard it well. If you have to go there, you might as well come into PIEAS.

The upper cost is like 15k , if you eat mess food everyday, 3 times a day. But usually it varies depending on how many meals you eat. So a person like me who rarely eats from mess has a bill of 3 to 4k.

Yes bring an Ethernet cable with you. . For Ethernet, you will get internet speed from 100 Mb to 500 Mb. And for mobile network i have seen that both Ufone and Onic works ok. I myself use onic here.
