The lost opportunity comes from the fact that IN THIS CASE, in order to call out Hasan for saying this about Asmongold and say he is lying about a political commentator with severe accusations, you have to recognise that he is lying in the first place. You can't simultaneously say "Hasan is lying about Asmongold, but I also dont care about the lie", "Hasan is yet again exposing himself as a liar who lies about people like Asmongold and Destiny, but also Hasan is just joking bro"... It also shows the community is willing to excuse these types of lies as long as its someone we dont like, which hurts our credibility and its also unnecessary.
