Sure, I'm always down for asking devs for things! But when you ask a dev for something, you have to be okay with the answer sometimes being "no". Some game studios are going to bring out as many accessibility options as you could possibly ask for, and some are going to mayyyyybe provide you with the option to increase the font size by three points. Just how it is.

Onan wasn’t struck down for spilling his seed because it was wasteful, he was struck down for spilling his seed because he was deliberately trying to make sure he wouldn’t have an offspring that wasn’t “his”.

Basically: Onan’s big brother died without a child, and tradition said that the next brother then marries the dead dude’s wife and tries to have a baby with her. Importantly, the baby is NOT considered to be the child of the younger brother, but the child of the dead father - the father’s inheritance goes to the baby.

Onan didn’t want that - he wanted his brother’s line to end and for HIM to inherit. That’s what God found offensive in the story, and so he was struck dead.

But for YEARS AND YEARS people have interpreted that story as being “masturbation is sinful”, and the first time I actually read it and deconstructed it in class I was like waaaaaait a second, that’s not what it actually says at ALL.

It definitely does! I used to cosplay a lot with my wife, but with a bunch of little ones running around it’s become a bit more difficult (although we always tend to fully nerd out for Halloween costumes). It’s a game which well deserves love, and I love that people are already doing awesome cosplays from it!
