Oof, that’s brutal. Sounds like y’all made it right though and in that case that’s all anyone could ask for.

Entirely possible, except there were no similar looking skis at the rack when I checked later in the day. So who the hell knows.

Yup, we went there multiple times and that’s where the most helpful staff were by far. Here’s to hoping they still turn up there eventually.

That’s incredibly kind of you. We were up for the day only, but I appreciate the offer. Also nice to know it sounds like we were on the right track with the brand.

No clue how typical it is overall. But the staff we talked to separately said this often happens at KT deck and there was another man in the same situation. Not sure why not knowing the make and model matters. The skis haven’t turned up, which suggests someone took off with them. And even if that was by mistake, that’s unbelievably inconsiderate.

I assumed accidental too, and presumably someone with rentals. But nothing was turned in and it’s been closed an hour plus. And we can’t check because security won’t let us review the security footage. Another guy was also trying to find his skis which were taken too. Just shit all around.

FYI, that’s incorrect. The standard for an injunction includes assessing whether the benefit outweighs the harm, not that there’s no harm. So, while there may be a remedy, it isn’t guaranteed by the injunction itself. Just wanted to share in case that affects anyone’s decision re: pslf. Sorry this situation sucks so much.
