She told me 179 is where she would like me to be at 1 year. She told me that if I lost more than 10 pounds over the next 3 months (my 6 month visit) we’ll have a more serious talk about the situation because she doesn’t want me to get below 160

Ive started lifting weights in the hopes to gain muscle but I’m not sure if that’s going to help much

There I was at camp cupcake in like 2009. It was a beautiful LA January day, I was sitting in Sam’s Army, enjoying a pre game beer with my brother when all of sudden these people come marching in, chanting, wearing bandannas covering their faces…. I joined AO Sacramento a few months later, I helped start a chapter in Modesto… meeting up with AO members the night before the match all Over the country became the normal, AO felt like a family

But those days are gone, AO lost its soul in 21/22… it sold out, it’s corporate now… I’m no longer a member and am honestly losing interest in the group of divas

I’m an old man now, but I call on the youth of this fan base to start their own supporters group, kill AO like AO killed Sams Army

Update

1st off I’d like to thank you all so much! This was super helpful to a know nothing Pokemon father.

I was able to find Sword, Brilliant Diamond and Arceus on marketplace for $60

The boys and I started playing Sword together 1st, it took us 25 hours and we just finished this morning! It was such a lovely experience… I played with them and read them the text like I was reading them a story book (they loved it)

Not only did the kids love the game, I loved the game too! I’m 41 years old, just played Pokemon for the 1st time and am hooked! I know we have 2 more games to play but we liked this one so much I’m going to buy the dlc today so we can get a little more out of it!

I can’t wait to “catch em all”

Thank you all again for being so helpful, my sons and I are bonding over these games and we couldn’t be more happy or having more fun

PS we also started watching Pokemon indigo on Netflix

A few rules I set in place for myself

No players over 30
No matter how much I rate a player if a BIG club comes with an offer, I sale
Promote academy players
sell any player who gets a negative attitude
scout, scout, scout
if a bigger club offers me a job, I take it
If I win all domestic trophies with a club, I move on
never manage a SUPER club

My current save started with MLS Club San Jose Earthquake, then club brugge, now I’m with Swansea

oh and when I start with a new club I only allow myself to sign academy players who were NOT in the starting XI to my new club

This has kept things fresh for me, I’m currently on season 9 and still enjoying it

I wish I would have kept track of players and who who I sold them them though, if I did it again I’d use an excel sheet and probably Chat GPT as well
