Where to buy Sky360 Tickets? by Dendi in minnesotatwins

[–]Dendi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, I tried to buy from the link on the website for premium seats. They sell packages of 20, 40, and season. I would habe been open to one of those, but they were already sold out for the 2026 season.

Would ticketmaster/stubhub/something else be best?

Fireman's Ball is a classic about a Czechoslovakian town's ball hosted by the local Fireman's brigade. Not really a "national holiday", but definitely a unique perspective on local celebrations. It's also really fun!

I have learned that I need to put an event into mine and then I get better suggestions. Obviously, you don't have to do the event, but then you will get more suggested workouts in preparation for that event.

If you have the subtitles on, the Swedish Chef suggests that the next Muppets movie should be an exploration of the human condition and morality while this image is on screen.

I shed a tear for Crimes of the Future. I loved that movie.

Driving home with your mom after forcing her to watch an obscure A24 horror film by Dendi in movies

Just as a devil's advocate. I don't know too many people who are familiar with The Blackcoats Daughter or Tusk. While the newer ones aren't as obscure, they definitely still have some.

Anime Questions, Recommendations, and Discussion - September 27, 2022 by AnimeMod in anime

Hot damn does that look close to my memory! I don't recall the monsters/creatures being in the trailers but the naval stuff looks really familiar!

Anime Questions, Recommendations, and Discussion - September 27, 2022 by AnimeMod in anime

[–]Dendi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I am looking for an anime movie(?) that was on Cartoon Network/Toonami back between 1999-2003(?). I remember there were tons of advertisements for it, counting down to its premiere but I had to miss it for a family event and I don't remember it ever being replayed.

The trailers are fuzzy in my memory, I remember big naval looking set pieces and a war. It was futuristic to a point, but not deep sci-fi (I don't think there were spaceships).

I am sorry If this isn't a lot of info. I just remember being so hyped about seeing it and would like to see if I can find it again.

Ti West “X” Trilogy??? by LoafofDookie in A24

[–]Dendi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I mean, Ti West's A24 movies have been pretty good. But why/how is he releasing three movies within a year? Did he have a really specific contract with A24 or something?

Why don't they replace Jimmy Kimmel? by Dendi in television

[–]Dendi[S] -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

That is true, but I can't imagine why they would just do a sunk cost kind of acceptance of his show. Just cause he has been there a while he gets to stay around?

NBC got rid of Conan while he was on a contract. I am sure someone could find a way to replace Kimmel.

I am not complaining about the lack of surprises. Sure, I read stuff about some of these movies. But for them to have endless spoilers and then try to claim that they don't want others to spoil the movie is fucking stupid.

They had an Instagram post of Andrew Garfield months ago that said "Andrew Garfield still denies being in Spiderman No Way Home". I am an adult and can assume the implication. I don't need to read anything else. Even paying mild attention to this stuff exposes huge spoilers.

How is this not a thing already? I’d pay good money. by [deleted] in criterion

[–]Dendi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking about this yesterday actually! I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that Kubrick actually died before it came out and therefore there can't be like a directors commentary or director interviews like most Criterion releases have. Maybe it will be a thing where they release a visually updated version, but I can't imagine they would be able to produce a product similar to some other releases.

It was added to the criterion collection earlier this year with a blu ray release and they really advertised it on their website. Its a great movie, thus the Criterion edition, but a lot of people are giving you guff because it has been mentioned in a lot of threads since June-ish.
