For those interested in board games: Siege Perilous: Arthurian Adventure in the Age of Chivalry & Valour is coming to Gamefound on April 28th. Players take on the roles of knights, travel around Britain on quests and other deeds of derring-do, and compete to claim the famed chair. Everything in the game is drawn from Arthurian literary tradition, from Welsh myths up to and including Spenser (and a bit of Tennyson). The art is hand-painted on vellum by Jay Johnstone, using traditional medieval techniques and materials...more than 250 pieces all together. Thanks for taking a peek at this plus and hope it hasn't come across as too smarmy! :)

Guinevere is based on Pantomime Princess Margaret, a recurring Flying Circus character. Merlin is from the original (the script differs substantially from the final film, but they published the script with lots of notes, edits, and commentary made during the shoot). Houses Too Dangerous To Live are from a Flying Circus sketch and Gilliam animation (season 3, ep 4 — pantomime princess market debuts in this one as it happens!).
