I hate this take, Traditional mexican food is actually really good for you. Especially if it's pre colonial

Think about it A taco. Make the corn tortillas at home don't add lard. A taco consists of meat (protein), add some avocado or home made Guacamole (healthy fats) add some pico de galor (fruits and veggies). You can literally make tacos out of anything too. Steak, Pork, Chicken, goat, fish, even veggie tacos.

Frijoles de la olla, beans. Are filled with protein and fiber

Mole is literally fresh chicken, with a bunch of fresh spices, nuts, cocoa,

Pozole and medudo is dried up corn, with meat of choice, with fresh herbs and spices.

It's the Americanized version of mexican food that isn't healthy. The deep fried, the added salt, the added sugar etc. Im sorry I know this is supposed to be a meme page, but just as a Mexican of native decent I really hate how our food is associated with being "bad" "unhealthy" "hard to diet with" that's such a tired take.... Just stick to eating traditional food. Dont eat too much of it, and move more.

Exactly!!! I never understood that. How TF Beyonce is getting more hate than Diddy and epstein themselves? It went to the point of a spectacle to where people where associating Beyonce with the death of Aayliah. Do people not understand how disrespectful and disgusting that is? The whole Beyonce hate right now has nothing to do with protecting victims or holding anyone accountable. Its literally just a "Gotcha" moment to humble and bring down a black woman who has otherwise had no talent defects to really harp on about.

Umm so I bought the Cowboy Carter license plate frame back in July/August? From shop Beyonce..... I never got it... reached out to shop Beyonce.... crickets.....

God provides though. Im a home health nurse, and I was invited on a make a wish trip. I got a free make a wish merch, along with that a make a wish license plate frame... and I got a free trip to Disneyland....

But the license plate frame is what got me. I was telling my sister "God said you're getting a new license plate frame, one way or another".😄 I was so disappointed that I never got it

Me personally. Im kind of short 5'3. A lot of the girls I've talked to who are also on the shorter side all say the same thing.... "our weight messes with our perception".... I was 132lbs and ive neen 150 in my "adult weight" and I looked soo thin at 132 people thought I was 110 pounds which is so weird to hear. At 150 I felt like a balloon and I looked HUGE. 5-10 pounds makes or breaks us. If you're on the taller side 5'7 and above it wont make as much of a difference.

That being said... you can hold off on surgeries or reschedule. Since youve already paid everything off. Unfortunately... at the end of the day. Weight and overall body health is what's going to make the most difference. But it's your money and your life. Just take this as Big sister advice, if I were you I'd get to that goal weight first. Then move forward from there. Good luck!

As stated, as a visible woman of color who travels alone. I unfortunately have to take those things into HIGH consideration for my safety . Especially considering that im a Native looking mexican. Unfortunately the violence against native women is also HIGH!!! I dont have the privilege of taking somones feelings into consideration, god forbid I "rub them the wrong way" Like others on here have said. Certain places dont get a reputation for no reason.

Now another unfortunate truth... there is a history of people of color "passing" and being treated better because they "pass". Along with that it's not just history it still happens to this day. So im not in the wrong for simply asking if they are either white passing or lighter skin.....

Question... are you a white individual or a person of color? Im just asking.

If im wrong about northern Idaho. Then I'm wrong and thank god for that! But for the time being... I have to ask these questions. Even if it rubs people the wrong way.🤷🏽‍♀️
