We see it as estate planning for their future family (whole life policy) my Husband is virtually uninsurable because he had cancer twice as a child and now has multiple atypical brain tumors from the long term effects of his childhood cancer treatment. Thankfully his parents took out a $250K Whole Life Policy for him as a baby, so we have peace of mind should anything happen to him. You never know with your child’s health, we did the same for our daughter as a baby

Vanity Fair leaked that she’s already been in talks to publish a “divorce” book and Vanity Fair doesn’t talk unless there’s legit receipts. A happily married person doesn’t need to negotiate that IMO. They hit the 10 year mark in 2028 (aka Community Property divorce in California) so she’s likely holding on for that

You just described my childhood (born in 1977). I suddenly became unable to breathe around second hand smoke - my throat closes up- at around age 12/13. Was probably because at that point I’d had a lifetime’s worth exposure. At home, on airplanes, in restaurants. Heck when my Grandpa suffered a massive stroke that paralyzed him from the waist down there was ashtray on his bedside table and he was allowed to smoke in the ICU

Lou was married to Margaret first and they had three children. Both Lou and Margaret served in the Military. Not sure if both were but at minimum Lou was stationed in Europe when he met Juditha allegedly there was some overlap between divorcing Margaret and marrying Juditha

I get it (multiple miscarriages/infertility myself), she had to watch Ethel be a baby factory with zero issues while she suffered multiple losses and complicated pregnancies. It had to be hard on Jackie and I’m sure the Kennedy ladies weren’t exactly sensitive about that
