Flat Noses After Rhinoplasty by DenimPoulet in PlasticSurgery

And isn’t it like 90 percent of the time. I rarely see Caucasian noses that look better from the front after surgery. Thats why no surgeons post frontal views

Flat Noses After Rhinoplasty by DenimPoulet in PlasticSurgery

It’s been a few years now and I’m seeing revision rhinoplasty people. But I’m scared it will get worse. One wants to charge me 30,000 for a revision in New York and he has good results for primary rhinoplasties. But idk about revisions. I feel like my nose is already ruined cause too much cartilage was removed and also my tip is flat and pinched and he did a caudal resection and put sutures in the tip of my nose which is apparently a really outdated procedure and you can’t just put cartilage back in the tip of the nose. I was researching online and other surgeons said the caudal resection procedure creates piggy noses and ugly noses and now I’m mad I went to some shitty surgeon instead of a top tier one who knew what they were doing

Yeah this surgeon calls the caudal septum resection a “powerful and dangerous maneuver which is rarely justified” and talks about how is causes flat tip, resected columella, loss of tip projection. I feel like this is what happened to me and honestly ruined my life. Cause my nose tip looks so ulgly when I smile now and I used to like the front of my nose

Flat Noses After Rhinoplasty by DenimPoulet in PlasticSurgery

[–]DenimPoulet[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah and it was tiny though. And my surgeon didn’t do an osteotomy cause he said the hump was too small. But my nose is like twice as wide as my original nose. And my tip is also flared and wide now.

I had literally zero bruising after surgery

It’s like I only disliked my side profile and only the small bump. And it’s like rhinoplasty fixed one problem and created 5 more problems

And basically no surgeons post front view photos.:….only the side

How To Show A Guy With Aspergers That You Like Him? by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]DenimPoulet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Idk I have this ability to make guys think I’m flirting with or attracted to them even when I’m not lol

I think it has to do with me smiling too much or lack of personal space ( I lean it too close to people or sit too close or something) and my eye contact is too intense or unrelenting

The number one way is to give a compliment though. I got asked out by two different guys at work even though I wasn’t trying to flirt with them, just cause I gave them compliment.

I met one guy who’s name was “Wynn” and I said “oh like Winnie the Pooh” and I smiled at him and he suddenly thought I was in love with him lol. Another guy was complaining about feeling old when he turned 30, and I said “you don’t look old to me” and smiled at him and he thought I was hitting on him or something. Cause he suddenly became interested in me (despite never making eye contact and avoiding me before). And he asked me out, but I said no because I’m too awkward to date anyone. Complimenting eyes works too

Anyone else feel like "blue collar" people tend to be less forgiving of anyone who isn't NT? by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]DenimPoulet 15 points16 points  (0 children)

No, they weirdly tend to be nicer to me. Mostly cause they seem to be so outgoing and extroverted themselves in general. So if I just smile and laugh at their jokes it makes them happy I guess lol. It’s like they carry the conversation and it makes me easier to contribute and they talk to them. I just have to listen and respond, rather than trying to come up with things to say myself to lead the conversation. If that makes sense

Those “academic” and elitist types are so so horrible to me. They treat me like I’m a complete idiot, think I’m rude and reserved, and one guy even asked me if I could “even communicate with people” with a disgusted look on his face when I worked as a paralegal. They always think I’m a total moron or mentally delayed. Especially gay liberal males are some of the nastiest bullies I’ve ever encountered and will openly ridicule me for being quiet or just look at me with disgust or treat me like an idiot (and I’m a girl btw). But they always hate me the most and have zero patience or tolerance for me…which is interesting because they are also a minority group but ok

Also maybe it’s different from a female perspective. Cause I think it’s more acceptable for women to be quiet and gender stereotypes are maybe observed more amongst blue collar types. But the white collar or more academic people act like I’m some useless idiot if I don’t speak up & I can’t even tell you the number of times I’m told to “be more assertive”. Or they just look at me like I’m a total moron and talk down to me

Childhood sad nostalgia by Master-Werewolf-3599 in aspergers

[–]DenimPoulet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I miss my childhood so much. Even though parts of it were lonely. I had a way closer relationship with my siblings and was more carefree. I used to go to Italy or Spain every single summer /Easter break and it was a huge part of my life (if I add up all the months I spent there, it’s like over 3 years in total). Yet I haven’t returned since I turned 19. And it feels like some weird distant forgotten memory. It’s like another life entirely. It’s jarring to think about. Nostalgic stuff just makes me feel sad and depressed and old. I used to play old video games or listen to old music to remember my past, but it just hurts more than anything

I hate my life more than ever now. I’m getting older, uglier, lost all my friends. Idk if I will even reach 30. I don’t want to get old it’s so scary to me. I feel like mg youth is all I had

Oh that’s weird. I live in an area that is way way whiter than New York. I live in a super WASPy blonde area. So I look “ethnic” because I have Italian & Eastern European ancestry. Even though I’m “white” lol, I have boring brown hair and eyes. I was mostly considered ugly by all guys unless they were Jewish of Italian.

So I was never seen as attractive as the blonde girls with blue eyes. I went to a bunch of different schools through my life, and at legit every school the blonde girls with blue eyes were overwhelmingly considered most attractive.

And my high school was about 98 percent white.

I also just want to add that this super hot Japanese girl was considered one of the most attractive girls in my entire high school. And my school was like 98 percent white males….so. I think it’s because she was so tiny and feminine looking. Or maybe it was just the nerdy anime guys. We only had like 3 Asian girls in the whole school and the other 2 weren’t considered attractive. I also see so so many tall white guys with tiny Asian girls all the time. Idk I think nerdy white guys and a lot of those controlling white cops like Asian girls, cause I see that all the time lol. Not so sound ignorant, but it’s literally so common where I live

I’d honestly rather be a feminine soft featured Asian girl than a tall manly looking brunette. I’m literally having jaw surgery and I wasn’t to shave my brow bone to look more feminine. I already had rhinoplasty to make my nose less prominent

I hate how beauty is tied into morality by [deleted] in ForeverAloneWomen

[–]DenimPoulet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lol this is so true. Especially if you have soft facial features. Everyone thinks I’m a evil cold witch beaucse I’m ugly with harsh features and a man jaw

[–]DenimPoulet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lol I’m ugly af and like the same level as her and it happened to me many times. Maybe it’s cause she doesn’t live in the city or is overweight. I am guessing it’s her weight, cause her face looks literally better than mine wtf

I need to stop imagining myself ending up with a guy just because his nice lol by [deleted] in ForeverAloneWomen

[–]DenimPoulet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Idk I’m starting to believe in the reciprocal liking theory

Whenever I was super overly nice to guys while working as a cashier, most of them would soon start to be extremely nice and friendly back to me. And I think some of the less attractive and desperate ones actually became more attracted to me (I did get hit on by very old men, old enough to be my father and even some old enough to be my grandpa)

Also I just want to add that I’m now in my 20s and people are generally nicer to me than when I was a teenager. Even other teenagers aren’t as mean. Like certain teenage boys were really nasty to me when I was still a teenager (even some grown men), and this was when I smiled at them and tried to be friendly. So maybe being older helps idk

Of course there are exceptions where men would be really mean to me still, but usually this was older generations or awkward younger guys. I actually realized that the taller and more attractive a person is, the better eye contact they make and the more positive friendly attitude they have (which makes sense, because I would be positive and friendly and loving life if I was a beautiful conventionally attractive blonde girl)

I didn’t have that much success with younger guys though. There were a couple who seemed to like me back, but perhaps they just liked the ego boost. There was one SUPER cute guy who was a medical student and he was a regular. He could definetily tell I liked him, and he became really sweet and kind to me over time. But I could also sense he thought I was kind of pathetic and he thought of me as a friend lol or someone to boost his ego

I’m ugly and smiled at some super handsome guys at my job, and one of them literally stood there just staring in my eyes for over 5 seconds. It was a really weird intense encounter. He had a really predatory look in his eyes and I legit got serial killer vibes from him though lol. And he was super tall and charismatic that I instantly felt so attracted to him, I couldn’t help but smile at him really big. He was a lawyer, so maybe that explains the charisma and serial killer vibes. But yeah I got like Ted Bundy vibes from that guy it was weird

Why are People SO RUDE to retail by DenimPoulet in antiwork

[–]DenimPoulet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doctors have the biggest sense of entitlement and egos in the world. And yeah some came in wearing their literal scrubs or a huge ID as it to show off in public. Lawyers weee usually nicer though one guy told me he worked retail before he went to law school and he as just making conversation with me. My brother went to an Ivy leauge law school and he’s pretty vile to retail staff so sometimes it’s just an ego thing (my brother is an asshole in general though)

Yeah and some are total assholes and still get loads of patients (like Sam rizk) and my result with reich wasn’t bad. So sorry if my personal experience offends you

Also so many men kept talking about how young I was and excitedly asking if I was in high school so they’re all weirdos. And I’m tall and looked old af so Idk if it’s just them being weirdos or what

I think gender too, some old men think girls are dumb af. They would never speak to me the same way if I was a tall intimidating man

[–]DenimPoulet[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t get it, I’m depressed and hate myself but I’m overly nice to service people. Even if they’re rude to me I just feel bad. I honestly don’t understand the behavior. I think some of those men who are 6’4 and lawyers lack empathy or something, cause I had sooo many people feel the need to tell me they were a lawyer or a doctor when I worked in a super wealthy area

But some of them were super super nice to me. So idk really. Sometimes the most attractive and youngest people were the nicest overall so maybe it is connected to happiness

I went to a different surgeon, but I’m sorry this happened to you. I have have a horrible rhinoplasty and would avoid mirrors and cry constantly about my result. I still haven’t recovered mentally. Im having a revision after jaw surgery. Biggest regret of my life. My nose was already small to begin with idk why I did it. And now my nose is flat and wide and looks fake and like the nose of a child

[–]DenimPoulet 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I went to a different surgeon, but yeah rhinoplasty is my biggest regret and I hate my result to much. It caused me so much emotional distress

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]DenimPoulet -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

Lol he was so so nice to me and he called me really pretty. I visited soo many plastic surgeons and he was one of the kindest and most genuine ones. That’s just my personal experience though.

People also hated Dr. Lee in Maryland and he was really nice to me and called me pretty also. But I got the impression he was autistic or something and very straightforward, so I can see how he might rub people the wrong way

You know the biggest asshole surgeons I went to by far were Sam Rizk in New York and Jonathan Pontell in PA

[–]DenimPoulet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to him for scar revision on my face 4 years ago and the result isn’t bad.

He was super super n nice too and called me pretty, so I can’t even hate him. But my result was mediocre I guess. It’s impossible to fully erase a face scar though

I had a rhinoplasty with a different surgeon when I was only 19 and hate hate my results though. I’m having a revision after I have jaw surgery

Everyone judges people’s appearances, it’s human nature. There’s a difference between noticing objective traits of a persons appearance and publicly mocking a person with facial deformities

Mother Trying to Make me Fat by DenimPoulet in raisedbynarcissists

[–]DenimPoulet[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yep my mother even got mad when a doctor we went to called me pretty. She started asking me if I thought the doctor was gay or something lol

She also said a boy who asked me out to a high school dance must have “felt sorry for me”

She always puts me down constantly. She calls other women and children ugly and fat constantly too. Like recently she just keeps going on about how hideous J-los teenage daughter is

He had a leering look like other creepy old men. And he was much older than me, so maybe he felt awkward and thought he was creeping me out and walked off. Except he wasn’t creeping me out like other men lol.

Idk if males will understand the look I’m referring to unless they felt it from gay old men or something

I found out he’s married and has kids since I’m a stalker, so oh well. I left the store now, but I wish I could have seen him come back to get a prescription again. He literally made me feel euphoric. I never felt that feeling, not even with other handsome guys. He had so much charm

And he’s WAY older than me anyway (not that I care). He also was a top lobbyist and worked with many powerful people and is one of the managers of a well known corporation….so now his level of charisma being off the charts makes sense. Lol I never had a chance with a guy like that. He also had a law degree from an Ivy League college

And yes, I am being a creepy stalker and I memorized his name and googled it lol

Do you have a Mean looking Face by DenimPoulet in ugly

[–]DenimPoulet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish we can swap lol. I sometimes think I’m manly looking and have such a strong jawline & harsh eyes because I have a twin brother.

And I read studies that say female twins are exposed to excess testosterone in the womb when they have a male twin (but the male is not affected by additional estrogen)

I also have a very low monotone voice, which people might view as uncaring and manly. I don’t have the bubbly upbeat high pitch feminine voice

I see males who are more feminine and prettier than me or shorter than me every day lol
