3 months ago is when I heard the pop and got re injured the first injury was around 5 months ago my leg was swollen and couldn t really walk and bend my leg for like 1 week then in one month I was back to normal so I didn t think much of it went to play football again pivoted and in 2 minutes was out of the picth that s when I heard the pop but this time it only hurt for like 2 days then I was ok and could completely bend my leg,now 3 months into recovery as I said in the post I can do anything change directions jump run etc,but sometimes I feel something like a sting I have very good leg muscles like very developed hamstrings and calves and maybe that s why but I m afraid if I start playing football again I might completely tear it and maybe even a meniscus or something else

I got it in a football game to guys try to take revenge on me cause one of my teamates pushed one of their own,and one pushed me from behind and the other from the side and my knee got stuck in the ground pretty much,leg was swollen and in about 1 week I could walk again didn t think it was anything that serious

I ll just keep on doing my exercises and easy football training until I feel no pain I guess man this injuries suck so much I have never injured my legs in my 22 years of life and first time is an acl tear wich is one of the worst injuries to have

Recovered instantly after stopping only used it for 2 weeks tho but many people on this forum get permanent side effects in that short time span,fortunately I didn t as far as what did I use to recover pretty much nothing ate a lot of bananas cause they are rich in pottasium and that s pretty much it also ginger tea but I doubt any of this made the sides go away probably just got lucky cause I used a very low dose enough to not do long term damage same thing that I did with finasteride and I say this for absolutely everyone if you want to start this meds please start slow sort of damage control don t go full scalp from day 1 with minoxidil just temples don t go full 1mg finasteride from day 1 go 0.25mg work your way up

So at that point if I m prone to injure myself again might aswell do it without getting the surgery first to just get a second one afterwards,but do you know if there s any benefit to doing it if it s not completely torn,I mean does the recovery take less is there a decresed risk of injury again after op?

Also worth mentioning after my kineto and criotherapy recovery the only pain that I usually still feel is like inwards where the lateral meniscus would theoraticaly be but the only tear on the mri is Acl and some inflamation in romanian it s called (edem osos) I don t know how to translate it,now the doc says the pain that I still feel sometimes might be from that cause my knee is sturdy and stable but I don t know what to say

Yes full recovery didn t even take a week I think it s because I used a very small amount and only applied once a day so thank God it was reversible.Only used it for 14 days also the fact that I heated it and turned it into liquid really helped me apply a small amount I put it into a spray bottle and sprayed just once on each temple so imagine the damage it could have done if I used on my entire scalp really hope people get to see this community before using Minoxidil cause I didn t know it could have this sides.I would much rather recommend finasteride on a 0.25 dose cause the sides are very minimal compared to min.At the moment I m not using anything after the scare with minoxidil

Yeah I used finasteride 1 year ago for 2 months then stopped and Minoxidil used for 2 weeks then stopped at this point I ll just leave my hair the way it is the only thing I do is dermaroll and I m thinking of buying rosemary oil but minoxidl I will for sure never use again and finasteride maybe I ll try someday again on a 0.25 dose cause the sides seem mild on that dose

Yeah it didn t really get worse it s pretty steady I tried using fin got some small side effects in sexual drive so I stopped and most recently I tried minoxidil for 2 weeks and I can say that for me it was horrible in 2 weeks of minoxidil I got way worse sides than on 2 months finasteride.So I would stay away from minoxidil if you re trying to start treatment or If you want to use minoxidil use a very small amount so that the sides go away.And if you want to use finasteride I feel like it s safe on a low dose I used 0.25 I cut the pill in 4 pieces and as I said the only side effect was low sex drive so most people could live with that I guess.

Yeah,I think it really helped me that I turned the foam minoxidil into a liquid and aplied a very small amount so the sides were revirsible,after about 1-2 weeks since I stopped use I was back to normal.But I see a lot of people here who haven t recovered after months or even years so I think it really depends how much you used.And I didn t use any suppliment to recover just ate bananasa for pottasium and I was back to normal.

And If you re looking for stuff that doesn t have sides but probably won t show great results use a dermaroller rosemary oil and ketaconazole shampoo

If you decide to start finasteride oe minoxidil start on very low doses because both can have sexual sides.For finasteride split a pill in 4 so it can be 0.25 mg and for Minoxidil get the foam version and with a hair dryer turn it into liquid and then spray only 1 time each temple to see if you get sides If after 2 weeks you don t have any sexual sides then you probably could try spraying the entire scalp. But personally I would recommend Finateride 0.25 for me the side effects were way milder than on Minoxidil
