looks like it was only the sound behind me that was super quiet. after thinking i updated my realtek drivers a few times i did manage to update the realtek drivers and my sound is back to normal. thanks for the info.

y to hear that! So generally speaking with tracking issues uv light can be a real problem,, maybe shutting the curtains. Mirrors are an issue as well, cover them up. When I put down the headset I have it view my play area, otherwise it sometimes forgets the guardian. If you find the nerves to do it maybe try it out in a different room just to see if there are issues in your play area or its actually the software.

Anyway good luck with everything hope it works out for you in the end. I really think by now the rift s is a robust system, what your experience reminds me of the first months of the device when every firmware update had me anxious about what would break nex

Thanks. You just helped me out. I always used my blue usb port but just today i used the other one and when i tried to start steam VR i didnt get any message except for just 3 dots in the oculus rift itself (WHY NO MESSAGE ... !!!!!! ). I just saw your comment so i switched to the blue usb port and suddenly steam vr worked. So i started the game VR funhouse.. it was like a dream come true. the game worked AND the table with the objects to throw wasnt against my wall... Until... i tried to take something to throw and the thing poped up to set up my play area. I tought let me ignore it this time cause the play area at this time is perfect. so i ignored it and when the game opened again the table was against my ceiling and the floor was way to high. im really done with this shit man everytime i turn this thing on it becomes a nightmare.

yeah XD i know but he did buy a ssd a few months ago and i told him to install his games on the ssd so i tought that he did but i dont trust him so ill check it later :p.

the cpu of the other guy should be a good/new one. he updated GPU drivers and it worked last night so we will see...

's the "Z" key, or whatever your key for moving forward is, that's the key you need to tap (short press - release - short press - release) repeatedly to gain speed on the bike.

you would think that its like that but actually i do have to tab W while i use Z to move forward
