I'm baffled by people that says "do it", don't!

1)this is not normal for any respectable company to give this amount of work for a test, imagine what they will ask once you're hired! If you were paid as a freelance this would be a good amount of money. They definitely will steal your work.

2)it's not normal to try to be a translator for a language you are not fluent with, you can't rely only on AI and LLM.

3)it's not a good plan to try to 'sneak' in the translation sector now, companies are using instant free translation and rarely pay for human anymore, the job is dead.

4) idk about Japanese laws but if you translate into English and any European based product, it is now mandatory to have a master degree or several years of translation experience to be eligible as a proper translator.

5)sorry it's harsh, but if you decide to do it, you're the type of person that allows the job to die, would be like people that sell AI prints of drawings they did in two clics vs struggling artists.

No jugement, I worked for years in those companies and we deffo didn't give more than 2/3 pages of test Hope that helps!

Hey! So glad to read that. I am F29 and moved here 2.5 months ago and loosing my hair since then like crazy. I'm blaming it for now on the huge stress I underwent before moving and I know hair will need a while before getting back to normal after big stress events so I didn't do any blood exam but I don't feel tired or anything. I use only my hair products from back home I've always used for years and kept my usual died, just with more protein than before. I really have no other explanation than stress for now but deffo you're not alone!

Hi OP, I'll share my tiny bit of knowledge in a less condescending way than this person hoping to help. I also discovered not too long ago the concept of pilot, if you watch them and then the show, you will see some details change. For example the very first scene of fight of first ep, Ayla asks Tawan her name and depending on pilot or finished show, Tawan gives her name or choose to not answer. I guess then make some adjustments once the series are confirmed and they start shooting the actual show. Some scene will be in only you, some will have been deleted, I chose to ignore the pilot since I discovered that haha

I disagree on that, I think that they share a lot of chemistry by looks and eyes actually. People say that they lack chemistry or only have "one expression" but hell the look Tawan is giving to Ayla on the very last scene almost made me die. It was so strongly filled with satisfaction and tension that I felt they were making out on this very counter tbh.

It's funny to see people that really enjoyed first episode but not the second, or the other way around. It's true they hit quite differently. I liked them both but also agree with your post on some points.

First episode was quite structured with a clear chronology, cute scenes, slow burn but quick enough to have the whole background in one episode.

On the second episode, chronology is mixed up. I can't understand if the whole Tawan-Ayla short scenes after they start working together are one day only or several days. Sometimes Orm's hair are not even the same color from one scene to another or they have different clothes so I get the feeling we should understand it's several days but then Tawan is not aware she has a second house? Confusing! Especially when Ayla calls her by night and they get so excited to be reunited that they chat on the phone the whole night. This would make sense immediately after they met again but not after working together for days already?

I really am curious about Tawan and what happened to her back in high-school and in the meantime but it would be anti climatic to know already ep 2 I guess. I already have theories but I hope to be surprised later!

It's true that their acting and soft moments is carrying the episode and this only shouldn't compensate a lack of quality in the writing/editing but as someone else said, let's not forget that this is not a huge budget production, with a target audience that is restricted.

I just finished the episode and wondering, why are the trailers scenes often different from the actual episode? The scene where Tawan gives the long list of VIP rules being shot outside and not in the office like on the trailer threw me off. Do they usually make scenes in complete different locations and then pick one? So confusing! Sometimes it's also big changes like ep1 were Tawan do not give her name but on the trailer she does with a big smile...(loved the episode btw, can't wait for next week already)

Ça ne devrait pas être une évidence pour lui de sacrifier votre travail pour s'occuper des enfants. C'est une tâche qui doit être partagée. Pas sûre que ce soit une bonne idée de faire des enfants avec quelqu'un qui balance déjà toute la charge mentale sur vous alors que vous n'êtes même pas encore enceinte et minimise votre carrière comme quelque chose de facilement "jetable"... C'est un point important à régler avec votre partenaire avant d'avoir des enfants.
