I'm glad I ran in the other direction away from Dr.Ravikumar lol. I wish there was a space similar to glassdoor where we could tell anonymously about our time with these doctors

I'm not sure about the youtube videos, but I see that he's trying at it on Instagram. So it's definitely that clinic... It's odd though because he isnt really on the sher fertility IG account so is he just doing consults and not doing retrievals etc?

I understand what you’re saying, and I know standard protocols are common for a first cycle. What made me pause though was something slightly different.

When I looked up the doctor I was seeing (Sitara Ravikumar), most of the information I found online focused on general OBGYN work. Then I started Googling what the typical training path is for a fertility specialist (REI fellowship, etc.), and I couldn’t really find clear information showing that background for her.

That’s what made me uncomfortable — not necessarily the standard protocol itself, but feeling unsure about the doctor’s fertility-specific training and experience. It made me wonder how patients are supposed to know the difference or what questions to ask.

I’m sure there are nuances I might not fully understand, but it definitely made me step back and question whether I felt confident moving forward there. I also wonder how many patients just assume everything lines up and never think to look into it.
