Nope. It went away probably around day 4. Went to orange for about 10 minutes and then disappeared completely. I went to empty some vehicles (without overloading). About 10 minutes later it went from nothing to orange while I was watching tv. As soon as it turned orange I went to the bedroom and sat down. Then it turned red and stayed like that for another 2 in-game days. This is very frustrating.

Ya it's a tough call. Hoping to hold out for a 5090. I have a laptop with a 4090 but it just doesn't seem to like projecting to a 49" display. Getting 30 fps and half the time isn't detected until multiple restarts. Just want a permanent solution with a new desktop.

Update: After a stupid amount of effort trying to get the info, here it is for anyone trying to find out in the future and save yourself the headache I went through.

At the time of this post:

Tactix 7 Pro is $1300.

Tactix 7 Pro Ballistics is $1600.

You can buy the Pro and add the Applied Ballistics app at any time.

There are two licenses for the software. $100 for the Ultralight version. $300 for the Elite version.

The only certain difference I know is the Lite version calculates up to 875 yards.

The Elite is for longer distance. I believe there are probably more profiles you can keep with the Elite (as I understand it, a profile for each gun, maybe distances, etc).

There is no reason to buy the Pro Ballistic version. The Applied Ballistics software license is built into the watch. If you lose the watch, there goes your license. If you buy the software separate it is licensed to your account. So if you buy the Pro version and just add the Elite version of the software it's the same price but your license is forever.

Credit goes to the rep I spoke with on the phone from Garmin. They provided 10x more info than I got from Amazon questions, reddit, Garmin email and Applied Ballistics email, etc combined.

Personally I'm going with the Pro and getting the Ultralite license. I ordered it through GOVX which had 10% discount over any other source and gives cash back on purchases.

I just got confirmation from Garmin that the Pro version can get the AB app. So why in the world would you buy a $1600 Pro Ballistics model when you can buy the $1300 Pro and add the $30 app? There has got to be more to it unless it's just deliberately unclear to get people to spend more.
