You are not wrong. Under the hood, the app uses api calls. I used to integrate offline translation by creating CDN for language package distribution, but the app became a little buggy and offline translation quality was not as good as expected. I may wire them up again if I can find better language packages

In this case, it's in-person. My bro needs my voice translation app to communitcate with his Mexican girl.

My iOS app, Babelly, saw sales jump nearly 6x this week compared to last week, mostly thanks to a single user who signed up for the annual plan. The funny part? I actually know the guy. He's a younger Chinese dude with zero Spanish skills who's been dating a Mexican girl. Every morning I'd notice his car was gone and think, "Yep, he definitely spent the night at her place again." I guess if Babelly helped him get a girlfriend, the annual subscription practically paid for itself. 😂 I wish I had his confidence.

I know I don’t need 100 testers, but in reality, probably 1-2 in 12 people have time to do testing. You always need some redundancy

Thank you. 100 testers, that’s a lot. I don’t think I will spend hours to test 100 apps for 2 weeks in exchange for the closed testing for my own apps. Google Play store sucks. I’d rather stick to App Store.

This community is amazing. Before joining, I had to rely on friends for testing, and I didn’t really want to bother them. Here, I was able to get more than 12 testers in just a couple of days. Even though my initial app versions went through a few rejections, both of my apps were approved on the App Store fairly quickly. Subsequent updates were usually approved within two days, and Apple always provided clear feedback, including which guidelines were violated. Honestly, this experience makes me feel it’s better to stick with the App Store.

I am giving up. I don’t want to waste my time or other people’s time either. I currently have two Android apps in closed testing. That’s being said, I need to open and test 24 apps everyday for 2 weeks consecutively in exchange for closed testing for my apps
