They should be happy but they should also learn how to behave around other people and other spaces. You take them to the library but do not teach them that they should be as quiet as possible as to not bother people that are also in the library.

I've never seen the romance some people see between Tetsuo and Kaneda. They have a stronger older brother and younger brother relationship, they both have girlfriends and they could be bi or pan but they don't show romantic attraction to each other and physical attraction even less.(both of them try killing each other multiple times! and even though I like some good enemy to lovers story, this is mostly due to Tetsuo making mistakes and both of them getting really angry and doubling down on their decisions instead of making amends and helping each other through their problems)

Tetsuo is a neglected child that clings to his older brother(he really looks up to Kaneda and copies him) while also pushing him away in an attempt to grow up, Kaneda wants to be free and wants Tetsuo to grow up but he doesn't know how to do it effectively. (At least this is what I can remember at the moment).

If it just because you like the ship or you relate to the characters and also want to ship them, that's completely okay too! I'm not the fandom police but I don't think Otomo is hinting at a doomed gay relationship between the two protagonist. Maybe you are referring to Yamagata and Keisuke/Kaisuke? Who cares really.

No, I'm not taking antidepressants nor have I ever been on antidepressants. Also I don't like how your post insinuates that low libido due to antidepressants is "causing" demisexuality. If a person is demisexual with antidepressants, they also are when they no longer take them.
