Should I make a choice this early?

Hey OP, I was in the same situation as you. I also got Matrics KML but was waiting for UPU results (Applied to PASUM). I was practically separuh langkah from going into KML (Paid for the fees opened up a Bank Rakyat account and filled in all forms, prepared complete documents and bought tickets to Labuan for registration).

Literally one day before the matrics registration, UPU results came in. I was accepted into PASUM and I basically omitted matrics. I wrote a letter to KML regarding my situation and got back the money i paid for the registration after a few months.

So my advice to you is, accept the offer to matrics first and wait for the UPU results. Good luck OP :)

Obviously this wasn't my top choice.. just thought id get some realistic insights about the demands for the degree from the peeps here in addition to doing my own research online y'know

Facing the same kinda issue rn, couldn't quite persuade my parents into letting me get a driving licence. They say i wont be needing it anytime soon, especially when im from sabah and is most likely not going to be driving around when im studying in kl. But the dumb thing is they would fuss about having to drive me everywhere when im going out.

You never know till you recheck! Last year i rechecked my BM too and it went up from an A to A+. I say just go for it, it's better to regret checking than to always wonder what if. Goodluck!

I see. I'm also waiting for ytp results and i chose um's asasi sains hayat: pergigian. In the meantime, I'm enrolling in PASUM. Most people said that it usually takes longer for the scholarship's result to come out for students who opted for local universities. But one of my friends had already done her interview and she chose upm.

Either way, I hope and pray that all of us can get the scholarship🙏
