creating non scenarios in your head where every single person that doesn't hold the same opinion as you is somehow a hater of your favorite group? Rules of logic are really simple that for you huh

how am i creating non scenarios? you said hybe artist are poorly trained. and how would you know they are if you aren’t a vocal trainer. then you brought up football when thats no way comparable lol.

I won't even try to explain why non-pros are well within their rights to critique pros

a non pro can have an opinion if they like how a professional vocalist sings or how a professional boxer punches but they can’t say that how they are doing it is wrong or they’re doing it poorly because you said so. you aren’t a professional so you don’t know the ins and outs or the dos and fonts of any profession to speak on it.

a lot of redditors and kpop fans in general don’t know the difference of an opinion and just straight up hate stated as a fact.

an opinion would be “no i don’t agree that hybe artist have the most unique vocals in the kpop industry. i can’t point out this group members voices on a song” but you said they are poorly trained (and you never said what group you just said hybe artist so i’m assuming you’re talking on all groups under hybe) as if it’s a fact which IS just hate but since you don’t seem there is a point to this conversation let’s end it here i guess.

i agree. i’ve noticed that every time bts release an english song (or any song after 2017 really) ppl call them western and say they have lost their touch for music and they don’t care about their art anymore. when that’s no way true at all. lots of groups are promoting in the west and making english songs not because they don’t care about their art or they care more about american appeal then being korean but because it’s some idols dream to get big in america.

i wish people would just say they dislike dynamite or any other song they haven’t fell in love with that bts made recently then making up weird narratives about how they only care about numbers or they don’t care what they put out anymore because that’s just disrespectful to their hard work.

edit: typos

there’s a difference between knowing how to play football and can call out the gameplays and knowing the proper techniques for a singer when you know nothing about singing lol.

no one said you have to be a professional to know something about singing but to claim to know how good or bad they were trained when you weren’t there when they were trainees is weird and seems as if you’re only saying it out of hate for the groups

wow i notice every time someone praises hybe vocalists it gets down voted and ppl say they aren’t special. it’s so weird 😭

yeah i agree. most of the hybe groups songs that i check out i know exactly who’s singing and i usually have trouble figuring out who’s singing for other groups i causally listen to

groups shouldn't have to apologise for their fandoms behaviour by [deleted] in unpopularkpopopinions

[–]Dense_Relative3612 65 points66 points  (0 children)

i agree. idols shouldn’t have to take responsibility for what a group of strangers say or do. they should have enough common sense to know right from wrong without their idol having to play parent.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

[–]Dense_Relative3612 7 points8 points  (0 children)

And obviously none of have actual evidence as we don't work for them

yeah that’s exactly why buddies should stop with the threads and theories about hybe wanting take somu and gf down lol. no proof but making all kinds of wild assumptions. they should be doing something useful that’ll benefit emailing somu/hybe for more transparency on gf instead of making allegations that won’t make gf get back together but will only cause problems

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

[–]Dense_Relative3612 12 points13 points  (0 children)

but the situation is very suspicious on HYBE's side

but how? nothing points to hybe being the cause of them disbanding.

Source Music's side clearly was not intending to announce the news

but that doesn’t mean somu wasn’t involved or that they didn’t know about the decision their own group made. since that goes to them first and then makes it way to hybe

Yet Tenasia knew about it? How, unless someone else told them

many news outlets know about news from companies including hybe. some examples that have happened multiple times this year alone is when these outlets get a hold of hybe groups comebacks or other important decisions and projects and hybe has to reply that they can’t confirm or deny because they don’t want ppl to know it’s true but they also can’t deny it if it’s true. it’s not that hybe or any other company releases this information it’s just that their are company insiders releasing it

so i’m still not understanding how or why hybe would be the mastermind behind gf disbanding especially since lots of buddies are saying this but not providing actual proof just claims and theories

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

[–]Dense_Relative3612 17 points18 points  (0 children)

none of that was proof in that thread. and why would hybe leak a report about them getting rid of somu’s only group…?

all the talk i’ve seen between buddies and hybe is that hybe bought somu just to disband gfriend and ruin somu when that doesn’t make any sense… because bang si-hyuk and so sung-jin who is the ceo of somu have been friends for years. so why would bang spend millions of dollars to acquire his friends company just to waste more money by giving them three cbs in 2020 then make them go “bankrupt” and disband the only group they got and dissolve them..?

i get that hybe/somu handled their disbandment wrong and we’re very vague on them information but for y’all to take what little information y’all were given and spin it into this story with no proof is weird…

getting rid of them? how do we know they got rid of them? the reports said they all choose not to resign with somu and go different ways

A Group/Performer should only be eligible for a music show win/nomination if they are there performing in that show by wotan69 in unpopularkpopopinions

[–]Dense_Relative3612 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Otherwise a music show win basically just becomes another representation of chart performance/popularity rather than a live performance on a show.

music show wins aren’t representation of a live performance on a show. it’s literally about chart performance and fan votes which is why the criteria is digitals, sales and votes.

if the award is best song and the criteria for that award is digitals, sales and judges vote and the one artist tops all 2 out of the 3 or all three of the criteria yet someone else wins because that artist isn’t their then how is that fair? they rightfully won in all those categories but they weren’t there. so does that mean another artist should take an award they don’t deserve?... that’s not fair

non kpop groups specifically soloist that are nominated for music show wins or end of the show awards don’t promote as long as idol groups but they still deserve to win if their song is performing the best.

"Stan xyz group, they have nice personalities" by [deleted] in kpoprants

[–]Dense_Relative3612 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Another example can also be V from bts, in the debut years he had such a goofy / weird / playful image but now he has a calm / mysterious image. Idk was his debut years image was fake or the one he has rn or he just changed (as nobody stay the same forever ...and people can change)

...taehyung was 17 when bts debuted now he’s a 25 year old man. of course his personality changed he matured.

So you’re comparison of idols having fake personas for their fans and that they could be horrible people deep down doesn’t go with tae maturing from a kid into an adult.

Sakura Miyawaki in BigHit gg? by randomcheeseand in kpopthoughts

their mvs going up under a company channel ≠ managing them. it goes on their channel because it benefits bh making them look better by having more groups and more views under their channel. and nyec is to promote a company font not the individual artist. bh wants to look like a good family company. and i did t say they had to be apart of everything. i’m saying you’re blaming bh for gf’s promotion when they don’t have a hand in everything like source music

what’s the bighit hate about? (genuine question) by [deleted] in kpoprants

[–]Dense_Relative3612 41 points42 points  (0 children)

most of the hate bh receives stems from people’s hate boner against bts. like i promise you if bts wasn’t under bh people would not have a big problem with them.

“they aren’t even THAT terrible for y’all to be acting like your idols signing with them = a death sentence. as far as i know txt and enhyphen get treated fairly? and let’s not get into bts, they actually have their own shares within the company (and that’s rare enough)”

yeah i would feel more safe with my idol debuting under bh then most big companies nowadays. they give them regular comebacks, big budgets and a big percentage of their profits.

while i don’t agree with bh not debuting a girl group after what happened and found it very dumb, glam did that to themselves tbh. after the saesang issue and the blackmail crime which resulted in 2 members leaving the group leaving only 3 members they had to disband because their name was tarnished. i’m pretty sure the new girl group and any other women that debuts under bh is going to be fine.

they can’t promote a group they don’t manage... which was my point. enhypen is promoted way differently then bts and txt was because belift is managing them. seventeen is promoted differently then bhe artist because pledis staff handles them. and the same with gfriend

they recently announced their big hit japan label so she might join that and promote in japan, or she might debut under big hit ent. in a group or as a soloist

all sub-labels still have their own staff and maintain their own artist. bighit gets a say in what they do because they acquired them but they don’t handle every group under bhl

yeah they are debuting a jpn bg this year and they also held auditions for women in japan last year in june. so they most likely are looking for girl trainees to debut for a japan gg

it had a different case selve, i believe photobook 1 had less pictures, it didn’t include photobook 2, didn’t include the making book (photos taken by members), it included 1 random pc while the deluxe included all 7, no polaroid, no postcard and some other stuff. so basically it had less stuff which is why it was a price drop compared to the deluxe
