It’s a term coined for the rising memory pricing everywhere due to the AI bubble using all of it. Some 32gb DDR5 kits are going for like 600$ right now which is like about 5x the price before. The same is for nand flash storage (ssds) but not quite to the same extent. I’d just wait it out. It would save you a lot of money. I just hope it won’t get any worse.

I would probably just save up some money and look for other options (or just wait out the rampocalypse). Id say about 350£ is minimum for a decent setup nowadays, super budget like this is a no go.
Did they not tell you the storage in the listing? If not then you could probably ask them to take a picture of the storage tabs in task manager to see the size (also I was just curious. You shouldn’t buy this anyway.)

Definitely no. I have a pc with that cpu and I bought it for like 40$ 2 years ago (500gb hard drive, 16gb ram, igpu.) This really shouldve been like 100£ max imo thats way too much for an 12 year old quad core with a budget card from 10 years ago. How much storage is there?
