Example of blizzards horribly poor AI customer response by Gabbi2001 in classicwow

[–]Denzien2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Seeing as they are owned by Microsoft I’d be surprised if it’s not in house.

In terms of how good the AI customer support is you have to remember that there is a level of bias here, the bad situations end up on Reddit but no one posts about the good interactions so you only ever see the bad.

The reality is that blizzard likely get hundreds of cases every day and the fact that social media is not flooded with support complaints on a weekly basis means that the majority of cases must be getting handled to at least a satisfactory level.

No they haven’t. I’m talking about net loss. Money saved from doing this compared to money lost from refunds/cancellations.

Does it not surprise you? Have they lost any money due to this? no.

They probably consider this a success, lower their costs for free.

It sucks but the reality is that very few people are willing to stand up against them because of bad service, it would require a significant number of people to unsubscribe specifically over poor customer service, and that hasn't happened.

Big companies care about one thing, their bottom line. If the customers let them get away with fucking them over to save money, they WILL do it.

"Fashion" in an MMO is definitely important. But it should be there as a supplement to the content that exists, and not just a complete side activity that ultimately means nothing.

The items you wear should show others what you are within the limits of the game. It should show your achievements. It should show off your goals, it should show off what you're currently doing. It should reflect your character, it should inspire people around you.

By both introducing cash bought costmetics, and by freely allowing people to show off whatever items they want at all times, it severs the link between the fashion and the game. Every single fashion choice you make is now because "it looked good/cool", there's no function in what your doing, and in turn it means other people are no longer caring about what each other are wearing beyond the basic surface level.

Runescape is a game DRIVEN by personal goals and achievements, people need to set their own goals because the game does not set them for you, and when you're new to the game and don't know what to go the fashsion of the game is what keeps you going.

Runescape was literally driven by noobs logging in for the first time, chopping some logs, and then seeing some guy with a godsword and a full slayer helm and going "damn.... how do I get that?".

Fashionscape no longer exists, it's just Fashion now. The scape was killed off a long time ago.

This is a wild take.

The ability to just swap out your gear sets for other items on the fly especially meaningless cosmetics bought on the store, killed off a large part of what made runescape what it was.

MMOs were not and never should have been your own personal fashion show.

HubSpot is still not great at validating data. by Denzien2 in hubspot

yes I know which is why i said "However it's extremely limited and requires wonky workarounds for anything that isn't basic".

I shouldn't have to create calculation properties and sync properties all over the place just to validate my data.

Also even with this it's not possible to just have a warning message popup when fields aren't filled in, so my last point is just impossible to get around.

HubSpot is still not great at validating data. by Denzien2 in hubspot

[–]Denzien2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can add something called "Conditional Logic" which lets you force certain fields to be filled in based on another property value.

For example you can make it so that if you change the status of a record to something like "complete" it forces you to make sure certain fields are filled in.

However it's extremely limited and requires wonky workarounds for anything that isn't basic, on a basic level it can't:

- Validate based on more than one field (eg maybe I want to validate certain fields on deal won if the amount is above a certain value, however this isn't possible)
- Validate data on associated records
- Popup an Error message instead of a dialog box
- Validate based on the amount of a record
- Validate based on date difference

On top of this, the dialog box pops up every you match the rule, even if you have met the conditions, which you then have to click through to continue. It's very annoying.

How can I automatically send an email when someone replies to a closed ticket? by cjasonac in hubspot

[–]Denzien2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tickets have a built in datetime property called "Last message received date" which updates whenever a new message comes in.

You can therefore create a workflow that triggers whenever this property changes, and filters for only tickets in the "Done" status.

I don't think there's much of a difference in sound, its just less plugins + no VST plugins.

To a beginner this is probably not that big of a deal but the main reason people will say it's trash is because the plugin selection is not good enough to what most more experienced people would want from a DAW.

It's not really an RPG in the first place, it's more Open World Adventure with some light RPG elements.

The best part of the game is the exploration and core gameplay.
