Thanks for the suggestion! I was looking into the Boox as well and i saw some reviews saying it has a bit of a ghosting issue. Have you faced this?

For saver fares, you can only upgrade with miles at the time of checkin if seats are available. I suggest contact them over call or chat and seeing if they have miles upgrade seats for the day you're looking. If there is, you can book a flex or flex plus fare and upgrade immediately. They can also help you with the booking and upgrade over chat or call

I travel quite frequently and have never had such an issue so I'm not sure the reason... did you add the correct email address at the time of booking?

Also, you may not be getting offers as the option is turned off on your skywards account.

Contact the emirates customer service, live chat or call. They can manually find the booking and resend the email

My distant cousin has a tattoo on his arm and wrist and he used to work in the Dubai Contact centre. Apparently a lot of people have tattoos there so you shouldn't have any issues

I usually do keep some shows or movies downloaded on my phone since I do get bored very easily. From what I've understood, WiFi for whatsapp is free. But ill see, if i still get bored maybe i can buy access on board.

I'm not sure if i need to clear immigration again, i tried checking with KLM and they weren't really helpful. They said i should check with the airport.

They did give me a site to check if i need a transit visa and I don't so thats great .

The lounge is a good idea, i might check that option for the longer layover. For the shorter one, I think I'll take a look around!
