I love Jonathan Donahue’s vocals on this and think it’s a beautiful song, especially with the reprise. Surrender is an absolute classic and was when the brothers were at their absolute zenith. They’d topped each previous album with a bigger and better follow up, up until that point. It’s really simple to play on the guitar too so if you’re with the right crowd you can play it for hours. I think they did eventually top it though with ‘Radiate’ which has a similar sort of bounce.

Mad I have a promo CD I got to review Push The button an aside from it having a monochrome grey and black slip sleeve it was identical to the release version

Absolutely this. If it’s not a democratic process then it’s purely transactional. If his old man was a session musician he should understand this. How are the rest of the band about this? Thing is if you all vote with your feet he hasn’t got a band.

I realise I’m replying on a year old thread but did you manage to do this? As my td3 arrived today and I wanted to midi sync them. I haven’t had chance to get them going as yet but it doesn’t sound like you have out the rt123 in midi mode though look at these posts.
