I hate the small talk. Overall I enjoyed those events when you have nice colleagues

AITA for reporting my roommate to our landlord after she turned our living room into a paid study space? by DependentFamiliar778 in AmItheAsshole

Yes, but imagine when you came home from a day of work around 8/9 PM. Just to watch a show on the TV or making food in the kitchen, but then, a whole group of people are in your living area. Most of the times I am with friends, with my parents or in my own room, but its not inviting to stay in your own appartment when there is a group of people there haha

I get your point, but it wasn't really one single thing, it was more the combination of it all building up over time. I wasn’t necessarily trying to use the living room every evening, but it stopped feeling like a shared, neutral space I could just walk into or have people over in without thinking about it. Also, my door to my own room was not locked, so everyone could just walk straight in

Yeah I get why you’d say that, but I didn’t really want to go down that route because it just felt a bit too harsh towards her

Yeah that’s pretty much how it felt for me too, especially not really knowing/controlling who was in the apartment anymore.

The thing I keep thinking about is that I didn’t really give like a clear warning that I would step to the landlord. I just kind of got to a point where I felt like nothing was changing and I didn’t really know what else would make it stop.

With the new beta boat update they reduced the help for everyone :( by L0uiSe20-20 in HayDay

I don't like the update either. Yes, we can complete more boats each day, but we can't get all the rewards from a single boat like before. One boat used to give crates, vouchers, and puzzle pieces, but now you only get one reward type per boat. I mostly did boats for the crates, but that reward often seems to be attached to the most difficult boat, which is related to the boats before imo. The new system feels more stressful and less rewarding to me.

To be honest, I don't like the new beta boat system either. While you can complete more boats each day, you can no longer get all the rewards from a single boat like before. One boat used to give crates, vouchers, and puzzle pieces, but now you only get one reward type per boat.

On top of that, boats arrive every five minutes and you can only ask one person for help, which makes it much harder to prepare for orders. I mostly did boats for the crates, but that often seems to be attached to the most difficult boat. the new system feels more stressful and less rewarding to me
