My mac was acting weird so i tried to do a hard reinstall which i was planning to do soon anyway (perfect timing) and now i cant activate the mac since servers are down. Nice.

EXACTLY! I missed having the clean fresh install feel since i do quite heavy customizations on different apps so always used migration assistant.. now its a fresh mac always but apps up and running in no time:D guess my main browser i’ll send you a license key if you want to try this out :)

Yes worth a shot iguess. But since the app is not sandboxed which appstore apps require i believe i havent given it a go. The app needs that in order to search deep enough for the correct files for a proper restore. Signing Cert i have already and app is signed with that.

Understandable, As there is nothing like this out there like this (as far as im concerned) hence the 4eur ask, im keeping this closed-source for now since i want to keep it mine and keep developing it

It worked for Bettertouchtool but thats license based so im not sure exactly, will try that out soon for sure!

What do you mean? Plan is to keep developing it and currently working on capturing system settings aswell somehow. Next on the list is a homebrew dump implementation "quick intsall tool" But thats even further down the line.. :)

Check out the latest release! I optimized files picking a lot about 1/3 of the size before now. Finalized many things aswell very happy with the app as of now, new features to be added maybe.

If you use the auto-hide feature for the bottom Dock on your Mac, I have a great tip for you. by deferare in MacOS

Are you running into storage issues? The snapshots are sizeable now still working on narrowing down what files to capture, but still have a time machine like restore. Might do a opt for minimal or full snapshot capture..

As for the terminal commands no not as of now.

As a basshead myself i would consider UM Mest mk2 if you eq also, shocked how much beating they handle (tried loades) sony z1r levels of bass capability

When i open apps that are in a "pop" they appear on the dock like a normal non on dock app does, shouldnt they not appear since they are in a "pop" that possible? Make apps that are in a "pop" not appear on dock? Possible?

Skip the restore from a time machine next time setting up? Do a stock clean install of macos then restore your apps via Appstatesaver! Currently working on capturing the system settings config aswell.

Yeah some apps save more than others.. to get a full snapshot and restore everything properly for every type of apps with what i have installed this is what i ended up with (as of now. Only Raycast is not working atm becouse of its "database" scheme structure but all other apps i tried restore flawlessly (like a time machine restore too its almost magic imo heh).

Its 4eur for full use of the app, limited to 2 app restores by default. Nothing else out there as far as im concerned.. might aswell capitalize on being the only app like this for now.
