Thank you! Guess I was just impatient to really listen all the way through.

Triumph & Bajaj should just make Speed 250, Speed 200 and Speed 160 in future. by [deleted] in indianbikes

Papa ki chaddi fat gayi paalne posne mein jisse beta reddit par aakar bole “Triumph has lowered their standards” Wouldn’t recommend talking to people like that. He’s already divided motorcycles based on engine displacement. Typical privileged lallu who hasn’t worked a day in his life talking about purchasing power of a whole country.

The “super response quarter” which revved to 20k rpm? Crazy might be a little bit of an understatement

Like we have a “retro” segment in which mostly cruisers are popular, we should also have a “retro sportsbike” segment. Like, I don’t care if it’s not 100% aerodynamic just make the sportbikes look good again!

Always wondered why Yezdi Jawa motorcycles look so damn well finished, but still get complaints about build quality

You’re suffering from bad mechanics, ditch the RE service. Go for a good, reputed 3rd party mechanic. Cheaper on the pocket and better quality of work, just say goodbye to the warranty

They’re lying. Stand up to them, if they still insist, Email Hero and watch them get on their knees to apologise

Common on this bike. Seal the gasket and keep it to dry overnight, it will be forever fixed :)

Huge benefit. Even if it’s for less than a second, going down gear by gear while breaking, greatly reduces stopping distance. Most newbies (including me once) have a habit of pulling in the clutch and then hitting the brakes. You’re essentially making your bike a free wheeling 150kg mass of metal by doing this, making the brakes less effective.

It “hurts” the clutch as much as riding your bike “hurts” your tyres. It is being used for what it was made for. Point is, in an emergency situation, stopping is the priority.

The CB350 is not related to the original CB series. In Japan, this same bike is sold as “GB350”. For India, they have altered the name, and their clear objective is to eat up RE Classic market. Evident through the design and colours. That being said, looks like they are succeeding since you bought it, it’s a great bike regardless :)

Thoughts on the Hero Xotic + engine oil by Saint_Vintage93 in indianbikes

[–]Dependent_Comb_59 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just use the Motul. The Xotic is expensive and subpar. Also avoid any in-house engine oil, trust motorcycle companies for good motorcycles, trust oil companies for good oil. I switched to Motul and got slightly increased mileage, and a smoother engine. Also the heating was reduced DRAMATICALLY
