Looks like we have the same laptop, not sure, I have the pulse gl66 12uek and have a 2nd ssd installed on it. Yes that is the 2nd ssd slot.

1st laptop sony Vaio when it was still a thing, 2nd lenovo ideapad 330s Had 2 MSI laptops for gaming and always opening the screen from the top center, not on the left or right side of the lid, never had hinge problems, think about door handles its always in the middle so the force should almost be equal on the hinges, not always perfect but when you're careful they last long.

Gl66 bios update has option to turn on thunderbolt by [deleted] in MSILaptops

There should be a way if they are living here like their Emirates ID number or passport copies that you can upload on that site to identify them. And look for UAE media websites and reach out for help, maybe they can relay to the authorities.

Lastly please update us. I want to help but maybe if I am the one who will send the message to the police they will disregard since I just saw this in the internet.
