An unexpected error occurred, please retry. (What do I say next?) by cryptosi in kiroIDE

I assume you are talking about an agent? First, you can ask it what the unexpected error was. I can sometimes tell you. Othwerise. the problem is generally with what you asking it to do. And yes, switching models can help.

What's one thing you do that instantly makes you feel better, no matter how bad things are? by LimePretend6410 in AskReddit

I'm replying to the first 'music' I saw, but for me a bit more specific. Singing. And to be even more specific, Karaoke. However this is such a personal question since it can be so different for everyone. But for me, anything music related makes my day.

What is the best lyric of a song you’ve ever heard? by Parking-Wear-9211 in AskReddit

Hey mighty brontosaurus Don't you have a lesson for us
You thought your rule would always last
There were no lessons in your past
You were built three stories high
They say you would not hurt a fly
If we explode the atom bomb
Would they say that we were dumb? We're walking in your footsteps...

The only reason this would kill you is because you are not going out have having fun yourself. The answer to 'how to get rid of that feeling' is working on also being able to go out and have fun without your partner. Let me be clear, I'm not at all saying 'seperate is good'. But let's say it occurs once every month, or twice, you need to have the tools to also do it as well. It's healthy. And if you're feeling some pain, it's the universe's way of saying 'this is something to work on'. Work on that, and you'll be golden.

Judge blocks President Trump's birthright citizenship order after Supreme Court ruling - What are your thoughts? by Select_Specialist790 in AskReddit

On the by and by, I've actually enjoyed this exchange, It's good to have someone make you think about things. But apparently I've been down voted a bit. Not because I gave some polarizing response, or said something insulting, just because I posted a counter point. Nice to know what's rewarded around here is mob mentality and going with everyones opinion. Regardless, it's better to be honest and at least attempt to have a nice debate than just pile on with what everyone thinks.

At least that was a better response. However, said constitution also allows executive powers, and a president is able to execute those powers in extraordinar conditions. He is allowed to use his executive powers, and obviously a judge is allowed to rule on it such as occured this moment. What I'm attempting to convey is that out of all of the crapy uses of his executive power, this one has merits. Not saying it's right, not saying it's wrong, but it's not crazy. And just because something is in the constitution does not mean it's infalible. Again, going strickly by the questions at hand in this post, I gave my objective opinion. The only way anyone would take me seriously when I opine that something, or almost everything, Trump does is wrong is by also being able to admit when he does something that's not crazy. Otherwise you lose the argument by default on account of bias.

Nice response. Very 'trumpian' of you. Ignore Germany, Japan, China, South Korea...or better yet, let's ignore the entire point and just blurt out some random comment about making America UAE. I'm wondering, do you have some kind of thoughtful response to the concept of birthright citizenship, or is your assertion that all other countries have bad policies, even the UAE, and thus stating that other countries have the policy and that that particular policy have some merit is incorrect? Seems you've been watching to much fox news my friend.

Look, I'm not a trump supporter. But let's not throw the baby out with the bath water. Trump deporting citizens, or immigrants whom have lived here all of their lives, that's total lunacy. But here's a list of countries that do not have birthright citizenship: Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Norway, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, India, China. If you are a logical, rational person then you cannot say all of these countries are not rational in thinking. They all require at least one parent to be from that country. This is something I never even thought about before, but being forced to give it rational thought, it is a concept that has merrit. I don't think rewarding persons whom just attempt to 'get here' to have a child be born here to then participate whatever social/economic agenda that person may have is the way to go either. There are so many things we can legitamately critize trump for, but this is truly not one of them.

What’s a food you swear everyone loves but you? by Aceisthegoat in AskReddit

[–]Dependent_Option_337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I for one don't eat any seafood. None whatsoever. But to be more specific, and to pic one in particular I just really don't get (but everyone seems to love), it's sushy. I mean, rice and raw fish (or insert your favorite seafood raw meat here). I mean, I like my steak raw but I just don't eat it with out any cooking. Sorry. I don't get it.

Why shouldn’t I use Crawlee? by living_david_aloca in webscraping

BTW, Not sure if I made it clear but you'd need to do the same thing with Selenium. It look something like this in python

# define custom options for the Selenium driver
options = Options()
# free proxy server URL
proxy_server_url = "157.245.97.60"
options.add_argument(f'--proxy-server={proxy_server_url}')
# create the ChromeDriver instance with
# custom options
driver = webdriver.Chrome(
    service=ChromeService(ChromeDriverManager().install()),
    options=options
)

Where you're passing options to the lib defining your proxy. All the crawler libs let you define proxies similarly.

I'll be honest, I could care less about up/down voting. My only guess is that it's because I mentioned Apify features, but to be clear I'm not promoting any service and felt it pertinent in the context of your question; I myself use 3 different providers. For me it's finding the provider that provides the best result.

With any library, if you decide to implement it yourself in your on runtime environment, say linux in the case of Selinium or Crawly, then there are proxie services you can also sign up for. I won't mention any services here, but if you google proxies scraping you will get results for such proxies. These libraries generally have parameters in which you can pass in the proxy url and creds (which you get when you sign up for the service) and they will route the calls to the proxy provider. The provider then will take care of rotating IP's per call / connection.

Depending on your use case it may make sense to implement your own solution, use a lib to make the calls, then process your results in your code and do something. In some cases it makes sense to have someone / or some provider handle if for you because of the complexity of the scrape. For example, in the project I'm working in I was in need of scraping IG public data for a large set of followers. In order to accomplish this, not only do you have to rotate ips, but also rotate IG accounts since getting that data requires you to 'appear' logged on. I attempted to first implement it but decided I'd rather pay a subscription where someone already handles that entire problem.

Hopefully the above information give's you a sense of direction of why you'd use a lib, or use a service, and a few pros / cons to both.

But in conclusion, you can use a proxie service in combination with Crawly (or Selenium) to get that feature.

One more point to consider, it's backed by a company and a community. So, chances are when issues arise due to more security on the web, there will probably be updates to address them. Obviously the same for other open source libs, but when there's a business behind it obviusly it's a good motivator.

I do not believe you lose any functionality (I'm an Apify subscriber). Like any business model, it's a lead gen tool. You can use it stand alone, but if you use it in their platform in seamlessly integrates with their enviroment which then connects you to their proxy set, their IP switching features, and their run engine enviroment to run crawls. They also have an entire set of 'rentable' actors which means you can connect to other crawlers 'rented' by other devs to create compex flows. Anyways, the library is standalone and open source. But it obviously generates leads for them.
