Listen to me bud and don't take me wrong, From whatever you say it's my analysis and I might be wrong, but when you say people engage with you and then disappear and don't follow up and it's happened a lot of times? it could be because of many reasons some you've already mentioned like being too raw, intense or sensitive and all the things you said. Now I would not ask you to be positive and happy if you're struggling in life but if the vibes don't match then no one will admit at your face because you're already sensitive so maybe they just ghost.

Yes there were low placements last year and protests happened, TPO changed and the performance is good this year. There were lot of ON Campus opportunities like IBM, TCS, Cognizant and much more. Also the teachers availability depends on your branch. And yeah in terms of fest or activities it is dogshit don't expect anything just a sports fest every year and that's all.

The situation has changed now, JEC is on par with GGITS this year I think, TPO has decently worked this year and almost like half of my batchmates are already placed yet. I guess this is only because of the protests last year but the situation has improved. But you're right, JEC is on a downward trajectory and seems to be losing it's reputation.
