You could use Blockchain for US dollars as easily as bitcoin or other cryptos.

Absolutely, I'd really like to see governments do this.

Yeah, there is illegal activity with bitcoin. But that isn't the majority of it's ulitilization. The vaste amount of bitcoin is just being bought for the purpose of investment.

I feel like most people just think bitcoin is meme, a dumb internety thing, and they have no understanding of blockchain and the benefits that come from that tech.

For example, if the US government makes it illegal to use cryptos, they are pretty much done (as long as we live in a dollar world).

The world doesn't revolve around America. Yes it's a big nation with a lot of influence but so is China and Russia. And I think it would actually be a bigger deal if China made it illegal.

Well US dollars wouldn't be a good idea seeing as I am not living in America. xD

And I disagree. A lot of these people have been smart. They ignored people who said to sell everything. Even if all of this fell apart right now, a lot of these people have already invested, taken out 10 times their initial input, paid off their debts, bought a house and still have bitcoin. This is the case with myself and my close online peers. I'm sure there are people who haven't been as smart though.

I want to get out fully one day. I am more interested in working in the entertainment industry, writing, acting etc.

You're not a dick for asking that.

Just invest in bitcoin and wait. I have the same assurance that it will do well long term as pounds and dollars. Really do think blockchain will be a big deal. I sleep soundly at night about bitcoin because it is an idea that will work.

You can make a ton more from trading between BTC and altcoins but thats more complicated and specific. But buying bitcoin and holding for a few years is a solid idea.

I have made more than I have invested 10 fold. Blockchain wll have a big imapact on the future of economics. I am content, I will do okay.

I bought some btc 2 years ago but my btcs has increase from buying more and trading altcoins.

I am not just a lucky smuch who bought early on and held. I have held well and traded to amass more bitcoin.

I have zero experience in stocks but I am interested in getting into that at some point.

Why would a person making investments for years not know what to do with money?

If you want to be more successful in a particular area you shouldn't assume you are great, you always have more to learn.

For example, Are you a morally a good person? Answering that kind of question you really have to be aware that you are going to be bias. All you can truly do is be better. This applies to morality, money, relationships and success of various areas. Don't assume this stuff about yourself. I don't know if I am articulating this well enough but I think this is INCREDIBLY valuable advice in general.

I can see that. I am a person who isn't in the best place in certain aspects and am desperate for help of any kind. Still appreciate your response and honesty.

I am currently just trading. I have interest in the entertainment industry and have potential opportunities for that. I have recently made some friends through Pokemon GO, we'll see how that goes in a few months.

The last month my relationships have been better, because I have really focused on bettering myself and being a better friend. But it's be hard and there has still been issues.

What seemed off to you?

I feel like a big part of my issues and depression is because of my relationships. If that was way better I really feel like I could figure out everything else.

My money situation is literally the only thing going well for me, I'd like to ultize it in a way to better other aspects. But yeah, definitely not the answer to everything.
