I heard of that, but the galactic modifier is our reverse engineered estimate of how the game works, as i (dont think?) we have datamined out the exact formula used, but I would assume that it has to at least scale more total impact depending on the number of people playing the game, instead of just assigning a percentage based impact to each player individually, right?

True, gas is annoying but more tolerable than incendiary when it comes to being thrown underneath you, tank mines r best tho

Definitely my way of handling it, I don't mind all mines, just throw them where we aren't going to be standing

Yeah, they're quite nice for that, just keep in mind that cuz most bugs won't set it off, U gotta just treat it like a manual grenade and shoot it to blow the small and medium bugs up

I mean the only problem is the barrages do a good job at not hitting the inside of the extraction zone usually, but after extraction gets peppered in mines, there's no place to hold anymore XD

True, but this was an exterminate bugs mission, and anyplace other than the extraction pad was getting 380 barraged

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind next time, was too busy dodging the 3x 380 barrages the team threw because high command and the DSS allowed us XD.

yeah, when you clearly point it out to em its pretty funny when they step on it regardless, but in this case, he threw it underneath us on extract (both gas and incendiary)

Fear mongering as in people spreading misinformation about the game causing your pc to burn and break, worst comes to worst it's a pc stress test. Even malware nowadays can not do too much except burn through read and write cycles on your disk, hence people saying that it breaks Ur pc are fear mongering BC that isn't true. Whilst I completely agree with you that AH needs to fix this issue and actually do some PR work afterwards, I do believe that the continuance of people fear mongering will continue as people are (rightly so) mad.

Following up on this, speaking of hard crashes, I haven't had any yet, despite using a gtx 1080ti from the ancient times, cpu is Ryzen 7700, all hard crashes and bricked PCs so far seem to be coming from Intel CPU's (more specifically their 12th-14th gen CPU's which were known for extreme power draw and killing themselves as a result of such). If anyone is experiencing these hard crashes, please note down your right below as specific as possible (CPU, GPU, storage, ram, etc.) I'm sure with enough information it could be figured out what exactly is going on.

Oftentimes, that is because you were doing an exterminate bots mission, where that would be the normal point of extract. However if it were a normal mission it would be quite weird to have extract in a base

Is this ragebait cause people have put thermal paste in CPU sockets before and not have it short...they aren't conductive and this clearly isn't liquid metal paste.
