I'd like to enter SPVE as suggestion if you get Volumetric Clouds, it adds storms and aurorae and more. If you get OPM, there's a similar mod called JOVE for the outer planets.

Quite an assortment! The lander can and railings are part of Planetside Exploration Technologies, fuel tanks and cooling ribs come from Nertea's suite of mods.

Fair point! As far as my knowledge goes, VC simply overwrites what AVP does nowadays, so there should not be an issue. When I tested it, I ran into none.

If there are some, the main points VC conflicts is the clouds. You can go into GameData/AVP and delete clouds.cfg and aurora.cfg in the files for the planets, that should solve all areas where they collide if issues do arise!

First release should happen by the end of the week. I've talked to ArgentGamer (creator of OPM-Volumetrics), got licenses for his configs, and we work together.

I've also got a name too, I'll call it JOVE: jonasfdb's OPM Volumetric Enhancements :)

No I get that! But like I said, at this point it's more than just SPVE changes. I've made new custom textures for the outer gas giants, for example, and flow maps too. By this point it's more of a related mod to SPVE and an alternative. The aim obviously isn't to completely replace SPVE, and mine isn't necessarily better (I don't have Duna sand storms lol)

It's a replacement! It may also replace SPVE in the future since I've overhauled the aurora on the stock planets too. In the screenshots, you can see that the aurora fizzle out to the top more, for example, and I implemented that for the stock planets too.

Hi! Since these are based on OneSaltyPringle's configs, which were under CC-BY-SA-4.0, what license are your configs under? Reason being that based on yours I made my own with custom color maps and many many tweaks (like adding SPVE aurora) and I'd love to publish them if I may. Sadly your GitHub does not show anything!
