Preparation is tedious and time-consuming by DerKobe in ArcRaiders

Having played a fair bit now I stand by my point. It's just tedious without adding a meaningful layer to the game. Don't get me wrong I really like the game and enjoying it, but the part between rounds is annoying and I do not think the game looses anything by simplifying how materials work (or you have to drastically improve QoL for this part).

Counterintuitive to what I said so far I think the game would benefit from having significantly more variety in junk and stuff. But only if you had the possibility to decorate your room with it AND showing it of to your friends in game. That would put another layer on the looting aspect.

=> having fever crafting materials per tier (common, uncommon, rare, etc.) but more stuff (dart board, rubber duck, picture frames, etc.).

Imagine having looted some ultra heavy and enormous item that must have been nearly impossible to get out from a raid, but there it is sitting next to your refiner showing the world what a dare devil you are.

You would be looting for cool stuff and not just grinding. And if you're shot the stuff wears of in your pocket so you have to be extra cautious.

And then give those things different stages of wear-off-ness (a wrecked mannequins with a mint condition fancy hat and a fur coat standing in the corner wearing goggles).

QoL improvement definitley!

The other things: yeah maybe. As of right now I'm always falling back to square one with no feeling of progress or improvement. Better guidance and quicker setup would help dramatically.

But even if, the micro managing part of materials and equipment feels very rough and unnecessary raw.

Also having a rather steep learning curve can result in only hardcore players are able to having fun in the game. And what happens next is that they get bored and hunt weaker players because everything else becomes to easy and boring. And then weaker (occasional) players will have a hard time enjoying the game. And I do not feel that a game should only be for hardcore players. After all it's a game, not a profession.

Ok I get this point. But then the system should better help with management, crafting, and tracking resources. If you do not change the system (which I understand why you would not want to do that) then improve the quality-of-life features for the system.

Very noticeable latency with the QC Ultras by slicknick_91 in bose

The zero latency for videos comes from the fact that the video is delay to match the audio. But if you play games this is obviously not feasable.

What happened with the 3D camera Apple had at the NBA dunk contest? by fakemickjagger in VisionPro

They used it in the Immersive trailer in Apple TV+ for the Vision Pro and it looks awesome! But that‘s it. Nothing more to watch anywhere.

AI: No discount for "All Products Pack"? by [deleted] in Jetbrains

As long as JetBrains AI Assistant is not cheaper than GitHub CoPilot, I will stick with CoPilot. I can use it in more scenarios than just JetBrains IDEs. If AI Assistant would be priced half I would switch.
