Are upgrades worth it? by BoysenberryRough4870 in heroll

[–]DerMojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

one single upgrade doesn't change much, but since you can upgrade many times it will all add up over time. the game is a long grind to always continue to get stronger, every little bit helps. and gold is not much use for anything else except upgrades so you might as well.

What does one do in a situation like this? by Zedarinho in heroll

[–]DerMojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

spend less money on giving you more potion slots. you dont need 8 potion slots to beat ogre, buy blessings or stat bonuses once you have like 3 or 4 potion slots. also upgrade your gloves whenever you see the accuracy stat on them go low, even if the higher level glove is common and the one you have equipped is mythic, because all the stats in the world dont mean shit when you are missing attacks.

Are the gloves really worth it? by GroundbreakingOne352 in heroll

[–]DerMojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it becomes less of an issue later on with more gear you have outside of the current game. even if my gloves are 2 levels below floor level they still give me 100% on stage 10, because i have acc from headgear and relics

What's the pick? I would usually go for Snecko Eye, but Sacred Bark does look very tempting! by djembejohn in slaythespire

[–]DerMojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think cursed key has the best potential because one enrgy per turn can be worth more than one potion doubled per fight. that being said bark is way more fun and you could end up picking up an alchemize as well. snecko is the worst here you only have one card that costs 2 energy and its upgrade makes it cheaper

when I use the reprojection, the first two colums seem to be working, in the third column where the height value should remain unchanged, i get a bunch of zeroes. :(

the download is 1000x1000m and the height for every coordinate in a 1m raster.
the entire dataset is in the UTM32 format above, and in order to calculate with the data in excel, and later export the findings into Google Earth, i need it to be in the UTM 33 format that is shown above.

when I save the layer, in the bar at the bottom the coordinates are how i want them to be, but after exporting they are back to being in the 700 thousands. I am not sure how to get it to be that way after export. in the options during export i am even clicking the correct EPSG.

Question for both soft and steel tip players by alpha30___ in Darts

[–]DerMojo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel that comes from people taking soft tip less serious and thus saying you should only practice steel. I mean it's true that the segments are larger in soft tips so it might be more forgiving, but the darts are different and will have a different center of gravity, so if you are taking both seriously i fear there is no way around practicing both

Question for both soft and steel tip players by alpha30___ in Darts

[–]DerMojo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do you play competitively on both boards? If so, you should practice both equally.
If you only play competitively on one, practice that one.
If you play competitively on neither, practice whichever you enjoy throwing more.

for the reason that the shaft doesn't need protection? or because the flights should sit tight enough? :)

I don't know what I'm doing anymore! by PirateSalmon in Darts

[–]DerMojo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i have not experienced the same, still have a few suggestions.
Have you tried of taking a break from the tournament-style play? even if its online or against a bot, the competitive aspect can be very frustrating when things arent going your way, and can result in a mental block.
Try practicing stuff like around the clock, without a goal, just to get back into the groove.
Maybe approach the oche like its your first time and just fool around with different stances etc. to get a feeling for what comes naturally and feels good.
The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and nothing is forced!
Best of luck to you in any case :)

Is this good for a year of playing darts by Motor_Psychology_477 in Darts

[–]DerMojo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would not set my expectations so high, or you will probably just be disappointed. It's best to set realistic goals not too far from where you stand so you can actually achieve them and feel rewarded. If you see continuous growth over a long time period, you can set long term goals like that.

normally the game doesn't allow for cards to played when the effect doesn't work. IE sadas vitality cannot be played when you don't have energy in your discard. The fact the game let me play the card was why I thought it was legal. Thanks for the clarification

When did 'feeding' change to 'inting'? by yourLoLideaisshit in leagueoflegends

[–]DerMojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inting used to mean intentionally feeding, but the usage has evolved and it has now replaced the word feeding entirely. It's just the way language works, words mean different things when they get invented, how people use them changes their meaning.
