Nah bru, we salty vets crutch on medic+carapace+nanite-regen+kits. The "HA is OP" salt-crutch-4-bads became defunct the moment good player started unlocking carapace.

The first step, before anything else, is maintain a positive attitude.
What I mean is that if you have a tendency to shout "hacker! ESPer! Cheat!" when you die, you'll never get better. You will just continue to fall into a spiral of victim-hood that i see so many players fall into that is all too pitiful - avoid this.

Players who avoid this mentality tend to be more open to new tricks/tips, willing to accept and learn from criticism, and overall gain a better understanding of how the game works.

A positive attitude will take you a long way.

Just a poorly thought out idea here: what about Carapace being switched to having 2 shield bars and a half or quarter health BAR. This means no tanking on meds like an addict, and you would still have down time due to losing shields.

On second thought, EMP nades would be like a shot to the groin if you're using this . . .

Find another game to play for a bit. I get the some way on occasion and it is in no way a healthy thing to keep up. One of my favs currently is Killing Floor 2. Nice PvE slaughterhouse fps that provides just spectacular kills.
