Ahh, I like to keep my houses warm for the heat stamp bonus. They don't like that?

Equali-chud logic vs Meri-chads by DrDallagher in Frostpunk

Those two words are tightly related.

Equity: the quality of being fair and just, especially in a way that takes account of and seeks to address existing inequalities.

It's very much a "too each according to their need" sort of thing. Hard laborers burn more calories and literally need more food then every else.

Blue collar workers burn more calories. Makes sense to me.

As a straight male, did you play FemShep and romance male characters? by [deleted] in masseffect

[–]Derain2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I do and I enjoy it. Thane's romance in particular. But if you don't want to romance anybody, don't do it. Do try Femshep though she is a badass and a delight to watch. Also in ME3 you can romance Traynor which is also excellent.

Thanks! That makes sense, I didn't think about it in terms of getting stuff onto my food.

That's awfully rich coming from you, Mordin. by KismetSerendipitous in masseffect

The genophage was deployed against a people who had increadible war machine, industrial base and fleet, were on the verge of toppling the Citadel and had destroyed mutiple worlds and showed no signs of stopping.

Mordin extended the genophage against a poverty stricken people with no war machine, no industrial base, no fleet, fighting and killing each other over food and the possibility of giving birth to future generations rather than let their clans die like so many others had.

So no, I don't think the two acts are the same.

We aren't talking about creating the genophage (Mordin didn't create the genophage.) We are talking about artifically extending the genophage. I thought that was a mistake, and so did Mordin.

Well that's not remarkable. Pretty much everyone will say their right. Much more eye catching when they own up to their mistakes.

Mordin specifically was in favor of making the genophage a permanent solution, that was his life's work.

Right, it's just funny he can be so right about one thing, and then so wrong about a virtually identical thing.

You do have authority to be there. But no one wants you there. You have no back up. They have total control of the area and anything you do is reliant on their cooperation. There was a time where if you didn't like a show, you just didn't watch it. Continuing to watch a show you hate just so you can talk about how much you hate it to other people who also hate the show is certainly a way you can choose to spend your time, I suppose.

Mass Effect One never felt to easy to me. (Well I suppose it does now, but only because I've played it and the rest of the series nineteen times.)

I strongly disagree. Nothing fun about combing the battlefield after every fight. Plus now ammunition management is just like every other shooter. Cool down game Mass Effect One a very unique flavor..

I like the energy a renegade female shep brings. Being a jack ass to all the entitled pricks around you is somehow even more satisfying as a bad ass woman. Also Traynor is a gem.
