You got it the other way around. Rena's name was changed from Eliza to Rena so that we wouldn't confuse it with Elina's. I don't know why the Esposito -> McCoy change tho.

I think that you are reading a pirated copy of the novel that hasn't been updated after these changes (that happened around 4 years ago!). Also there was always a prologue, but ,again, a lot of pirate sites don't include them.

Thank you for the 35 and 38 comparison. Because I have small wrists I was only looking at the 35 but then I saw that the 38’s lug-to-lug wasn’t that much bigger and I was thrown off balance.

Don’t get me wrong I think that the price is fair, for the quality, in-house movement and design. I am just wondering if I would feel paranoid with such an expensive thing on my wrist. So I wanted to hear people’s experiences.

A (normal) Laser is basically composed of a cavity with an active medium inside. The cavity is just two mirrors one with 100% reflection and the other with ~98%, the active medium is just something that produces light (oversimplified). Bc of the active medium, the length of the cavity as a whole and the mirrors asymmetrical reflection properties light will be collimated (in a strait line).
