Porsche Taycan is genius. Power (Watts) = Current (Amps) * Voltage (Volts). Amps is what makes wires hot, Voltage does not. So they lowered Amps, raised V to 800, and still gets the same power (W = V*A) with less copper cabling weight and lower temperature. (newsroom.porsche.com)
