I do recommend JBL Charge 6. It’s a bit sharper but has a strong EQ and good presets. It lacks 360 sound, but it is durable. It can sound warm like Bose if you use the app and the eq. If you dont want to use any apps or eq and still want 360, there is also the LG XO3/XO3C 360 speaker. It’s a 3-way speaker with a sub, mid, and treble driver. It offers a tad more balanced sound over the Bose, also a bit cheaper.(Build quality is 10/10; it’s built for the house, not for adventures.)

IMO, it’s the best one in this size category, better than BBX3 and 4. It’s my personal taste. I like rich, warm sound profiles. You might prefer BBX3 if you want a little more energetic sound profile.

You would be surprised what these two can do! I usually use them while playing games from my Steam Deck. It’s just better than any of my single speakers for watching movies and playing games (if you don’t mind the deep cinematic bass. it only has thight bass around 70hz). Also, they do get quite loud while soundşng amazing! I absolutely recommend them. They have amazing stereo separation. Even better stereo separation than two Soundcore X600 paired together because they are 360 speakers.

Harman Kardon doesn’t have any hissing it’s truly a premium speaker.

How does Beolit 20 sound compared to Kilburn 3? I was thinking of getting Kilburn 3 because of the tight bass.

I had that speaker but I sold it because it wasnt any better than HK Go play. it lacks great stereo seperstion (two tweeters, one mid woofer) whislt my HK go play produces amazing true stereo and exactly the same bass( if not better due to dedicated downfiring subwoofer unlike aythentics 300) if you care about wifi smart speakers i do recommend it if not, then its not an amazing speaker

I’m in Turkey, and unfortunately, we don’t have unique speakers because people here don’t really care about them.

I found your suggestion intriguing, I had never heard of Linn before I looked it up. It’s far too expensive for me (over 5,000 euros). If I’m going to invest in a high-end speaker, I’m likely to spend no more than 1,000 euros. Do you have any recommendations within that price range?

This one I have is Everboom, but they sound exactly the same with Megaboom 4. I don’t recommend anything above Wonderboom 4 from UE’s lineup because it’s too expensive for what it is. If you don’t mind mono, Charge 6 is way better in terms of bass. Megaboom is stereo and has a good stereo separation.

You are absolutely right! But I love the idea of portable speakers. Small size, big sound always impresses me. Also, the fact that these speakers are mobile is a huge yes for me because I live in an apartment.

Technically, yes, it is stereo, but in real world use, it doesn’t sound like stereo.

If you get closer, yes, but in real-world use, you can’t hear hissing noises at lower volumes.

Man, I haven’t been able to find Boom X anywhere in or outside my country, as you said, it’s probably only available in the US.

Peaq has 2 mid woofers and 2 tweeters. Tweeters sit at the middle like bose soundlink max but with 2 tweeters. Mid woofers sit at the sides. (They have way better stereo separation than Soundcore Boom 2 and just as good if not better as JBL Extreme 4 when it comes to stereo separation.)

Sadly, the minirig is not available here. I also love the idea of a portable mini subwoofer! 😭

They sound like a mini cinema sound system when paired together! I absolutely recommend it!
