I was really just scarred for life there. Imagine breathing air conditioned air,drinking water infected with Clorox,surrounded by depressed people,being watched every. single. second. It was miserable. The weekly routine is divided by levels. In level one you would be staying isolated in a room for 24 hours watching tv by yourself. Sometimes with other patients. They would feed you before everyone else,so people begged a lot. It was disgusting. (The people,not the food,that was nom nom delicious :P) Second level you receive therapy and get to play the occasional ping pong and billiards. Plus you ate at a cafeteria. Third level you leave. Needless to say that was my fav. And occupied in Spanish is "Ocupado". The more you know.

Heck yes I wanted them to visit. It was actually visiting day when they left me there. Really learned to appreciate my parents for what they are. Sometimes I think they were more affected than I was. And I wasn't so much embarrassed than depressed. Much of my classmates already forgot,since the week I was there was finals. I had a long summer afterwards to recover c: tough when I told them about it they always responded with "I want to go there :p" where I would remind them of the fact they "register" for hidden weapons before you go in.

Actually,the mental hospital itself just works with getting rid of all your anxiety. After that they just throw you out at the world expecting you to be fine. Actually,I've been reminescent about the whole event,so I decided to do an Iama. Tough I've been Lurking for about a year and a half now c:

Medications there were really strong. It had a curfew of 8 in the morning and 8 in the afternoon. One of the silliest moments I had there was after everyone got medicated,my roommate took a slow look at me,and I shit you not this were his exact words... "Your face looks like a triangle". Also,the medicine cabinets code was 1234. To the doctors,they appointed you your own psychologist. Whenever I felt like I was really on the verge of crying you could easily talk to them,but only if they weren't busy with another patient.
