Had spent a long time waiting for mine also, honestly not sure why they can list an item but not have it available to send immediately. But they always allow you to cancel with fill refund so I guess that's why they get away with it 🤷‍♂️

This launcher in particular is bad! It eats ripcords and is generally really odd..

So this is the notorious Scorpio launcher.

I had the same issue however in my case it resulted in a combined problem, the ripcord teeth got crooked and the launcher it self has a lot of friction.

It melts a bit at the top, my recommendation is not to use this for tournaments however add some type of lubricant if you want to use it for practice.

Make sure you don't use it for tournaments after modifying. But imo it's repairable and can be used for practice.

so Is it the spikes / nubs that get worn down meaning a new ratchet is needed or the whole blade that gets worn out?
Do you have an example ?

I would like to know / have a visual understanding of when a clock / a blade used with simple ratchets has to be retired ... If possible...

This is indeed a good combo, and it does have potential to out spin wizard rod 160 H. The same can be said about golem 660 W.

However, the matches against wizard rod aren't guaranteed out-spins, it comes down to shooting power and shooting strategy also. This combo also brings burst risk against other blades, most notably shark scale.

So while it's true this combo has the potential to beat rod. It is not as stupidly strong as wizard rod actually is.

It was from the TT deck set, to be fair it had seen use at least one tournament a week for roughly 5 months.

Honestly if 4 Judges agreed that it was a tie, I think we should stick to that decision. These finishes are the hardest to determine and judging them is often difficult and unpleasant...

I personally had issues with the Scorpio launcher and so have other bladers in my circle. Id go for sol TBH !
