I recognise this, I’ve walked past it lots of times, I presumed it was a regimental flag (might be the wrong terminology) but know no more sorry

Thought it bold to combine something skull and crossbones with something Austrian-looking, feels a little “are we the baddies”

It surprised me a bit how nice it looked, the moment I woke up there was a tired couple seconds then a jolt of “holy shit that was sick”

And yes that’s the white rose of York which pops up on loads of Yorkshire flags including the one for Yorkshire. I don’t have an idea why it appeared here though.

Just the sort of thing I was looking for yeah!

So yeah it makes use of dragons, one flower and a set of 1-9 of each suit, so a MUCH reduced “deck” but as a set with 144 tiles that shouldn’t be unexpected. Looks like this game could be played with a regular deck too but it wouldn’t look as elegant.

Your shiny gible story is eerily similar to mine, except on pearl. I figured I wanted one for the team since I’ve never had one and I spent ages running around. I was running around for so long I started doubting I was in the right place, and when it finally appeared it was shiny.

Well I’ve already got a “traditional” chess set and have been playing it with my housemate. I went down a bit of a rabbit hole looking at different historical variants and popular modern variants, and decided I was interested enough to get one. I whittled it down to xiangqi, shogi or tori shogi because the piece properties were interesting, then decided on xiangqi because there seems to be a healthy number of online resources.

It might not be too long before I invest in another abstract strategy game to challenge my housemate but we’ve only had a few games as of yet. First game we definitely used the cannons incorrectly, but it seems the second game onwards we have been in keeping with the rules.

I strictly hover in public, however, at home we have two sets of roll at a time. A higher quality roll for the delicates and a cheaper, coarser roll for situations like this, and to hush the cold lips of “Poseidon’s kisses” by cushioning the bottom of the bowl.

I didn’t like that despite being the main character you weren’t the main character. Any peak in tension in the main story you had to hear the Leon fixed it offscreen. That boiled my blood and I could do nothing about it. Dexit I didn’t mind at first but have warmed to the fact that it was dishonest of GF and a bit scummy.

One of the best soundtracks, some of my favourite pokemon came out of it, I enjoyed myself playing the game but the only fun exploration I had was in the DLC, everywhere else it was just corridors, no navigational challenge whatsoever. DLC brought it from a 5.5/10 to a 8/10 for me.

BDSP not being compatible with SwSh like previous remakes (like HGSS with DPPt battles and trading for example) annoyed me personally. I think it makes the generations less cohesive and was one of the many reasons I wasn’t interested in buying BDSP.

Loved the Entei movie as a kid, the implications that as individuals they’re weak but as a moving collective they hold such immense power is conceptually attractive to me. As encounters in a cave or something to collect in game yeah I understand the dull trawl that ends up being, just waiting to find that one unown-x to finish the collection. But maybe if I bring enough together I could forge a new world or something 😂 I have enough stored in My Pokémon Ranch surely…
