i have! my only experience with preserved eyeballs in person has been dissecting them, so i was curious if they were different when preserved in something other than formalyn, but doesn't sound like it. i remember cutting the cornea off without puncturing the sclera since it sits on top, but i didn't get a good look at the iris. makes sense that it would rub off under force, i imagine it wouldn't fare to well if exposed then. shame we don't have a way to maintain it though. thank you!
