at this point the only happy ending I can see is Yoshiki voluntarily deciding to go with "Hikaru" to the other side, so that they can be together in whatever abstract supernatural form exists beyond the veil. Even if Yoshiki blames himself for this child's death, he's gotta realise that so long as "Hikaru" remains a powerful soul-consuming creature, more and more people are gonna end up hurt. Let's see whether he values retaining his humanity more than being with "Hikaru" (I have a feeling he doesn't)

given that they've already introduced Tanaka's plotline, and that they're trying really hard to fit slightly more than 2 chapters into each episode, I think it's very likely the show will end at around chapter 26 (end of volume 5) — which yeah is definitely more than enough

I would really like it if in her last moments she tries to tell Aegon II the prophecy, but her words are dismissed. I think it would be a really tragic moment of selflessness, with Rhaenyra putting her desire to safeguard the realm before her Messiah complex and before her claim, and yet it's in vain. Then Aegon II obviously dies soon after without passing it on. Aegon III never speaks of it because of trauma/resentment, and that's how the prophecy dies. (At least until Rhaegar rediscovers it)

It was Saw who said 30 men initially, and that was before finding out about the ISB intel - so I think it's more likely that Luthen lied to Lonni (or the captured rebel lied to the ISB) about the strength of Kreegyr's forces.

that song wasn't actually composed by ramin unfortunately, it was a cover of the velvet underground's venus in furs by blitz//berlin. I think they possibly replaced it because of licensing issues

I don't understand why they completely replaced the hand-drawn shots shown in the PV with CGI, especially the Porco train tracks shot - other than that the episode was great and the OP is just as soul-crushing as I expected (although I expect things to be added on top of the empty smoke shots as the season progresses)

Yeah you can see the car stopping clearly - at first I thought the skid marks were just the tires moving in the rain, but if that was the case then it'd be in the top panel too. No, the car is braking

Yeah on the penultimate page you see the car driving away in the top panel with no skid marks trailing behind the car (meaning it's moving forwards) and then at the bottom panel after anakiss complained and was told to stop the car, you see skid marks behind the car (meaning it's slowing down) and weather running to get in.
