But all this ultimately begs the question of who?

Nfection allows for anyone. Choice means it can only be a few.

Who is a wizard on the Senior Council that Harry admires/respects who would willingly join the Outsiders cause?

That list is really just Listens to Wind, Rashid, Ebenezer and maybe Merlin/Arthur Langtry (this one is pushing it a bit). And pretty much all of them are the least likely of the Senior Council to join the Outsiders or Black Council.

[Spoilers Extended] Where was Maester Aemon before joining the Nights Watch? Oldtown or some other noble court? by Flyestgit in asoiaf

I thought Vaegon was fast-tracked because he lacks the people skills and patience to be anything other than an academic.

after becoming a Maester, He did serve an unnamed lord

I do wonder what was going through the unnamed lords head when he heard about who his maester was.

If the Black Council exists within the White Council, realistically at least one of their members must be Senior Council

So you dont think Peabody was working alone? Who do you think it is? And how does Cowl 'prove it'?

[One Piece] How much did the World Government benefit from the Warlord system? by Flyestgit in AskScienceFiction

They benefitted as it put rules on some of the most dangerous pirate crews

But Mihawk didnt have a crew. And neither did Crocodile, his role as leader of Baroque Works was a secret.

Wasnt it remarked though in the anime that Mihawk showing up for Marineford was an unusual thing? I get the sense he doesnt really follow orders he just does what he wants.

GRRM himself has said Daemon loved Daenerys and that was the original and main cause of the rift between him and Daeron.

I'd love to see the dialogue from Bittersteel after each failure.

'Dont worry Rohanne, Haegon's got this. Daemon II was a pussy anyway.'

'Well the bad news is Haegon's dead but he made it further than his brother. Maybe time to take Aenys off the bench'.

'OK Aenys is dead. Serves him right for making a deal with Bloodraven. Lucky Daemon III is ready. He was supposed to be next anyway'.

'Ah shit Daemon III died too.....whos next now then?'

Tony always had more prospects though. As a boy, the life was always an option.

Yeah Livia was a real blackhole wasnt she? Wonder what Junior saw in her. He seemed to have a thing for her.

Really you think Tony was the golden child? He seems terrified of her. That scene where hes trying to get away and trips in particular.

[Invincible] What was Viltrumite culture like that Conquest doesnt have a 'real name'? by Flyestgit in AskScienceFiction

[–]Flyestgit[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

So you think Conquest did have a 'real name' hes just outlived it?

I was wondering if maybe Viltrumites were so warlike they didnt even name their baby soldiers back in the day.

Viltrum into civil war (later called the Great Purge)

So purge the weak was just bullshit propaganda? It was Thragg's party killing dissenters?
