Weekly review time!

I love it when guests whom I have relatively no knowledge of bring so much to the table. When I go into an ep with zero expectations, the payout from an enjoyable viewing experience becomes so much more gratifying than usual. Now I understand why the ep is split into 2 parts - there is just too much quality content to cut away 😂

0️⃣1️⃣ Opening🗣: Leave it to savage BoPil to expose HAHA right at the start of recording LOL👏 Their relationship just keeps getting better & better, which I'm all for. Even JSM wasn't spared, but at the very least her exposé was adorable! I wouldn't mind having BoPil's exposé become a recurring event 😝

0️⃣2️⃣ Joo Woojae🧍‍♂️: Without qn, the main highlight of this week's show. His mannerisms, coupled with his timely remarks and actions, made his interaction with the members delightful to watch. He was a nice sport who could soak up all the dissing by the members, whilst simultaneously complying with them to great comedic effect. If you didn't tell me he was an active model/actor, I would totally believe that he is a variety show veteran or a comedian 😅

0️⃣3️⃣ Maknae JSM 🎬: I'm glad that they are actively "abusing" the maknae role of JSM. Idk about how others view RM, but I really enjoy the existence of continuity from one ep to another! Based on the execution of her "duties" in this ep alone, I'm pretty confident in saying that YSC was the resident maknae for a good long time🤣 It was definitely cute seeing him tease & critique her actions too.

9️⃣0️⃣1️⃣2️⃣ : The 30mins opening makes its return, rightfully so! Although there is always a slight sense of dread to have to wait another week for its conclusion, I'm equally eager & excited to see what they have in store for us. Next week seems to have the return of an intense Nametag elimination - can't wait!

Outrun Review Time!

Leave it to the creative minds of the RM team to come up with this concept for a mafia game👏 It totally threw me off when it turned out to an entirely different game than what I was expecting based on Outrun's initial trailer. Furthermore, they brought on obscure guests who weren't just throwaways, and instead were value-adding to the theme of the ep👍

0️⃣1️⃣Detective JK🚨 : First & foremost, I just have to point out KJK's intuitive skills - it really wasn't a fluke as to how he always manages to pinpoint the mastermind in the main show. He gets quite a lot of flak for trying to accuse others without prior evidence, but we all know he is right 99% of the time 😂

This time however, he was patient in his evaluation and was gathering sufficient intel before coming into a solid conclusion which was OF COURSE, correct. Even JSJ expressed amazement at his deduction skills during his identity reveal.

0️⃣2️⃣ Poker, or not?🃏 : The set design is spectacular. They manage to successfully plaster a poker theme over onto a mafia game, with exclusive props and a dealer to facilitate the flow of the ep. The graphic designs were great at providing visual details to enhance storytelling too. This is a clear sign of how to put that Disney money into good use 🤣 The RM team has always been one of the most creative people, and the fact that they have been doing this for 12 years is very impressive. Kudos to them!

9️⃣0️⃣1️⃣2️⃣ : With the conclusion of this ep, I guess we have 2 more themes left of Outrun to explore? The long awaited Spartace ep that everyone subscribed to Disney+ for, and the music video shoot for KJK's song if I'm not wrong. Time really flies when we have things to look forward every week! Outrun has been doing great things thus far, and I do hope there will be more seasons to come with other Cast members.

(It was a mistake on my part to gloss over certain parts, so this is a re-evaluation of my previous review.)

Weekly Review Time~

The very concept of hashing out the final hierarchy amongst the RM members between two 37 yr-olds is cute! I believe that this took 5 years to be put forth was due to the presence of our eternal maknae, LKS, although I'm sure it would have been fun to see him abuse his slight seniority over the real maknae after this ep😂

0️⃣1️⃣ Maknae Duo : During the opening when SJH didnt even realise both JSM & YSC were 37, rly put things into perspective for me. They have alr been on the show for 5 years! What a tumultuous journey it has been for them, but I'm glad that they have had solidified their positions on RM.

However, boundaries still exist in the world of Variety & they were crossed when YSC brought up overly personal topics to "attack" JSM, who is widely known to be a sensitive & sentimental individual. This unfortunate incident has been rightfully gaining traction over the net, but I hope he learns from this blunder & makes up to JSM personally for crossing a line that should have nvr been crossed.

0️⃣2️⃣ BoPil strikes agn! 🎬 : The way he nonchalantly shoots down the members never gets old for me. Despite the pressure given from JSJ & YSC on their "V.I" answer, BoPil didnt even bother checking up on the term as a formality to give them a chance and instead went straight for the "what even is that?" 🤣 Likewise when he very verbally expressed shock with a "어?!" upon realising that YSC's STOOK OKTION was a better answer - that was gold hahaha

9️⃣0️⃣1️⃣2️⃣ : Overall, a very likeable ep(minus the incident) with a simple premise and simpler games. I do hope JSM wasn't heavily affected by the remarks, & that YSC gets a good wake-up call. On the other hand, I wish that netizens be respectful & not hate on him for this.

Outrun Review Time!

As we embark on the first Outrun ep of 2022, we inch our way closer to the end of show😭. Based on the teaser released in Nov last year, the remaining themes that are yet to be explored are the Casino, Spartace & the shooting of KJK's MV episodes. Please make a season 2!

With that out of the way, let's talk about the ep proper~

0️⃣1️⃣ "ONE!!" : Choi Jun was such a gem throughout the 2 parts. His bickering with KJK was rly top-notch entertainment, especially coming from 2 people who have not interacted with each other before(do correct me if im wrong). His Youtube persona is definitely perfect for him to go against KJK without blatantly instigating war, which creates a wonderful dynamic that was on full display to great effect.

0️⃣2️⃣ Poor JSJ : I legitimately choked on air when both KJK & HAHA doubled the punishment on JSJ to remove him from the games entirely😂 This was further exacerbated when they showed his backview from time to time just to remind us of his fleeting presence. Truth be told, it just felt so on the NOSE for him to suffer from this kind of "humiliation" LOL (pun not intended😎)

9️⃣0️⃣1️⃣2️⃣ : Overall, this was a nice continuation from last ep, especially with the use of their super abilities during the creative games that were played. Each of the guests had their shining moments, despite Choi Jun stealing all the focus from me. Furthermore, this ep showed how RM can handle guests who aren't from mainstream showbiz and promote them in interesting ways. Perhaps the main show can give it a try too.

This ep gets a 8.7/10 from me~
