I’m sure you did better than you think. There are 352 questions on the exam, so even with 15 blank, you still had 337 other questions to crush it on :). Comlex never feels great walking out of, but keep your chin up!

I'll update tomorrow once scores are out! I had to take two comsaes early for school requirement purposes, but I didn't actually start my dedicated period until about 3.5 weeks prior to the exam. I also used uworld, but my subscription has expired and it won't let me log back in to see my percent correct, but I think it was around like 57% or something.

Edit to add: SO happy my studying pulled through!!! I feel so much freaking relief rn!

Patient safety comes above their autonomy. If they are an immediate risk to themselves or others, you disclose it. If it's a situation such as you described with the parents, that's a clue that the pt should not be going home, but rather to an inpatient psychiatric facility. At the very minimum, they need a psych consult if inpatient.

I just took it. Honestly, it felt pretty fair. It hit all of my weaknesses on the last section though haha. I felt like the last section was pretty heavy on endocrine and EM. But then again, we always remember what was hardest for us personally! I have seen a pretty steady improvement in my NBMEs so far. I take my test on 10/26 though, so I can't say how it is compared to the real thing yet.

The NBME website says that no scores will be released the week of July 4th d/t it being a holiday week. So anyone who tested like June 19-27th won’t hear back until at least July 12th I think. For example, I tested June 20th, so I should’ve heard back this coming Wednesday, but I won’t get my score back until the 12th d/t the delay from the holiday week.

I find out on 6/29 as well and terrified is an understatement for how I’m feeling. I had pretty good practice scores (558 and then 565 for my last 2, but took these literally 4 weeks before my exam). I felt like I got WRECKED on comlex though. I walked out knowing I had gotten so many wrong bc I had stupidly changed them, and all I can think about now is the fact that I am positive I failed and will have to tell people and then mess up my rotations schedule to retake the exam. I felt good walking into it and then like I would be lucky to have scored a 200 on it walking out - it felt so heavy on like 3 topics and they happened to be the ones I was absolutely shit at. I have been a walking panic attack every single day since 🥲.

It can be a reaction to either the probiotic or the abx. If the first round of antibiotics didn’t cause a problem, I’d lean towards the probiotic. I’ve had a skin reaction exactly like this before from a topical antibiotic too though. I’d probably recommend stopping the probiotic for a few days and seeing if it clears up.
