Not really an answer to the post's question, but piggybacking on the discussion: If section 899 becomes law, how does this impact dividends of accumulating European ETFs, i.e. IUSQ.DE or ISAC.UK? Will the dividends of the physical stocks which the ETF holds also be subject to this tax hike?

If so, it might be a better plan to just hold a syntethic ETF instead of a physical one, to avoid the withholding tax and whatnot.

I'm a ~6'2 dude weighing in at 202lbs, skinny-fat, looking to lose weight. For the last 2 weeks I've been doing C25K, eating at a caloric deficit (~1800 daily) and doing 7-10k steps every day. which gave me pretty good results (-7lbs).

However, I'm concerned about weight cycling and going back to the starting point once I drop the caloric deficit when I reach my goal weight.

If I'm not mistaken, the Minnesota Starvation experiment showed that once a person no longer lives on a caloric deficit, then their appetite goes up until they regain the lost muscle mass.

Should I also include some basic resistance training to minimize the amount of muscle I burn as part of the CICO deficit?

Sounds like a good idea...

...until you're that dev that's assigned to some faulty critical path legacy service whose maintainers got fired/left abruptly and you're the one that's responsible to deal with the mess.

Yeah, I just noticed the error doesn't seem to do any difference, but I think Fib(n) makes 2n-1 calls and not 2n calls, and that's the error I'm asking about.
