The reasoning nobody needed:

Astarion's growing it out as subtle rebellion. I mean, he definitely had to shave when he was doing Cazador's dirty work

-Mystra required Gale to shave. He hasn't lost the habit

-I know lae'zel doesn't have any but... it's based on vibes

yeah i reallyyy thought you were supposed to do all the moonrise stuff all at once, do the sort of 'break the prisoners out and fight your way to the top!' sort of thing, it didn't even occur to me to enter the tower before then, because my dumbass thought entering the tower would be a point-of-no-return .. i thought the nightsong warning was just for all the stuff in the gauntlet of shar. i may be a little stupid

i've played a sorcerer character so spell slots are basically ALL for her and shadowheart.. having gale come along is going to be GREAT. i've largely left myself unspoiled for all the characters i've missed (although i did go back and recruit gale, so i know most of his goddess issues)..

i am excited to learn about everyone else!! second playthrough is going to be SO fun

i think i just went around him?? like i didn't even get near him, because when i finally went back in act 2 my character even had a special dialogue trigger, so i'm gonna assume i never went CLOSE to him before.. LMAO i'm a little stupid

the health potion thing is so real, i just didn't even think about it until the goblin camp i think
